I don't feel threatened at all, Martina...I've been throwing myself out of airplanes and off of bridges for years...this is child's play and you are acting like children. You've all made your point...we get it...what else do you need to say? I'm sure I speak for everyone here when I say, "spit it out and be done with it."

I got over it some time ago,
I contributed to this thread and offered the fact that I am NOT a breeder! Because of you jumpy attitude, I threw in some stupid joke here and there but I suppose you are not willing to look past it. so I guess I will not joke next time and be deadly serious

I assumed the OP is in the US and is looking for a breeder preferably in the US and that's why all the breeders I listed are based in the US except duke 1965 who shifted to Czech. There are breeders outside the US and are members of this forum who are honest and trustworthy (that makes them to me among the top) but I did not include in my list thinking OP might be more interested in breeders in the US, maybe also in Canada.
I did not include breeder members who people here do not agree on their breeding practices and or selling practices and there have been much dialog about quality and or health of their dogs and puppies, which doesn't mean I personally have a problem with any of them, but according to my understanding of what the OP is asking for they do not fit. Again some member breeders not included might be far more successful breeders than some of the ones I listed but they do not fit my perception of top breeders.
It is upto each one of us on the board to come up with conclusions and personal understanding of other members whether dog owners, trainers, breeders etc. When asked one might offer his conclusions/evaluation but that does not mean OP has no brains to make his own conclusions/understanding of all he hears from us.
I have learned here I can trust Red Sable's evaluation more than many here, so if I were totally blind on something I would go the direction Red Sable suggests to me. Red Sable has no personal agenda.
DJC was mentioned, to me I can trust her, I personally contacted her, she was helpful, honest and TRUSTWORTHY, she fits my perception of top 10 breeders active on this forum.
GSDPack might not consider herself a breeder that should be in the list, still to me she fits the top 10 breeders on this forum.
I have learned on this forum that people like Slamdunc, Gustav and Preston are unique in their knowledge, smart and have no personal agendas, I have seen over and over knowledge and info, also advice being offered by them to other members based on true and valid experience without show off or hidden personal benefit.
This forum is a precious place for ones looking for help and or advice, it is a precious place for those who want to learn, it might not be the best place for fake know it all.
From this forum I personally learned a lot
From this forum I gained very good friends
From this forum I came to know some very good breeders whom I can trust and know they produce good dogs to their best capability (no one is perfect).
From this forum I know who I should listen to and take seriously in regards to training, bloodlines, pedigrees etc.
To suggest that one should not base a decision totally on this forum is correct, but this forum can be a potential constituent of decision making on various issues and concerns.
Who can claim that he/she did not learn anything whatsoever in years from this forum?!!!!!!!!!
