I am a lucky dog. I have spent the day with her, and the more I spend with her the more I like her. She will be a monster when she grows up.

The "greater good of the breed" surely does not lie in having
a dog, however great, allowed open access to absolutely anybody
who wants to put their bitch to him.  Doesn't it behove owners of
good, prepotent  studs to be extremely careful about the values of
females used, even more so than with your 'average' male who will
be less in demand anyway ?  The current owner sounds as if he
may be the sort of guy who knows enough to pick & choose, or not
choose at all, rather than being swayed by the amount of stud fees
he could collect ...

I have had the Bomber puppy for 2 weeks now. Wow she is nice. I told Parrish what I had to have in a dog and he said " she will be what you want and maybe more" I went and looked at her and wow I really liked her and after 2 weeks I would not sell her for twice the money I paid for her. I had a few questions about her and he responded right back. In fact I have very much enjoyed visiting with him and look forward to more. I am betting if you do not get a Bomber puppy you will be sorry in the future.

Well I'm not going to be sorry. I WILL have myself a Bomber pup.
I have been following this dog for a few years now, and know enough about the breed to know a good thing when I see it.
The owner of this dog not only works his dogs in sport, they actually "function" in real life situations, such as actual "search and rescues".
At the end of the day, isn't that the ultimate payoff?

Paul, if you don't mind, can you tell us about your Bomber pup? What is she like, how does she compare to others you've had/worked?

So I guess the consensus is if parish will breed to your bitch you should do it?  Well not parish but bomber

I have never been a fan of puppies and I was looking for a green dog with extreme drives including no hesitation and bite for real. I have looked at a lot of dogs and I mean a lot, and they all lacked most of the things I was looking for. I called Parish and he said she will be all of the things I am looking for. Now this not being my first rodeo I said to myself "this I have got to see"  I show up and they meet me at the door very nice and inviting, with warnings and questions about my ability to handles such a beast. I told them about me my training what I have done and the dogs I have owned, and then they let out the puppy. OMG she had drive like a Mali and looks to die for. Russ did some rag work and I was impressed as she is 5 months old. Then he showed me what he is doing with her OB with food and he wore a heavy glove, and my thought was " what a sissy." BUT oh no.....if she wants something you had best be willing to give it to her or fight for it, and I mean tug, ball, stick, food you name it. She loves to work and I mean non stop. I expect she will be the bitch of my life time and I have owned some really nice GSD. On my way to my car Parish says I hope she is not too much and I said I hope she is good enough and he said if she is not I will find you what you want. Now I have heard every line of BS from dog sellers and he is the third out of hundreds that was accurate on what he said the animal was.

If Parish is willing to breed Bomber to a bitch for me I will start looking for a bitch to buy. He is that nice.
