And there could also be the option of paying the stud fee, having him collected and frozen for A.I. at a later time.  Or perhaps his new owner has had him collected already for later use.

wow this is considered as "the best dog in the world" and he studs out for $1200 a pop, something is wrong????

my new decoy on third session offered $1500 stud fee (or a pup) for my untitled, no health certs, no papers dog under 2yo with almost no training (they like the no training in fact).

this is my first gsd and i never thought of being a breeder - you assume i am telling lies, i am not.

i told the guy i would think about it but if ya like him that much just breed him!!! i must have sounded so dumb.

he has to put the payment thru the organisation's books tho so it must be a financial transaction or a legitimate donation on paper. will scan and upload actual payment if i decide to do it for you non-believers.

i think we are very lucky to have both bomber & bandit here in the u.s.  bred to the right females, they are both capable of producing
excellent progeny.

Being a decoy doesn't make someone automatically know doodlely-squat about breeding, bloodlines or structure. It may mean nothing more than they know how hard the dog hits the sleeve...and given that a dog IS more than a set of teeth, that's just not enough to make a breeding decision upon.   Donald Trump offered the President a large sum of money, too, but it doesn't mean Trump knows what the *#($)%! he's talking about.  Knowledge ≠ Money to burn.

Jus' saying.

I have a Bandit daughter...2 yrs old that is very nice...I have seen a few Bomber progeny....some very nice.  Time will tell how good the breedings were:-)

It's really nice that we have good producing males available to us here
in America! From many reports, both Bomber and his brother are producing
very nicely when bred to females of various bloodlines. Who cares if the
owner of any dog is likable, popular, eccentric etc?  Either you want to
breed to the male or you don't. Not really hard to figure out Thumbs Up

LOL...you say, "eccentric," like it's a bad thing!

Not sure where the, "best dog in the world," hype originates but he's very nice.  I've heard mixed reviews on his work...some say it's awesome, others say it's pretty good.  I haven't personally seen him so I can't say but I haven't heard anyone claim he's less than acceptable.  At the very least, he's a very beautiful dog who could probably produce some nice pups with the right females.  Molly has the same bloodlines in Bandit and I've heard some good things about a couple of his progeny as well.

A good friend has said before, the filthy rich are referred to
affectionately as 'eccentric', the less economically fortunate
are called simply 'crazy' Thumbs Up
