I have said everything that has happened and nobody wants to believe it. I came on here to tell people
what's she's done. I have also emailed you things before and have shown you I'm not a liar.
No wonder people come on here and never come back. Nobody has a chance. I put the thread on here
so I would have more people hopefully willing to tell there stories as well. Sorry for the bad words but I'm
furious. I am an honest, good person and people do and will get their AKC papers. Yes I've made mistakes.
What is wrong with trusting someone in the beginning until they prove to not be worthy.? I've answered all
the questions thrown at me. And still everyone thinks I'm the bad person. Just don't get it. This thread was
not put on here to bash me. What you or I do with our dogs is nobody's business or right to tell them how
to run their lives. Do I tell you how to breed your dogs. No Not everyone OFA's their dogs, so what.
Do you x ray your legs if there's nothing wrong with them, just in case.
Is there a way for me to put on some emails from her, on here ? She told me that I breached her contract
by coming on here, and the contract is now "null and void " I do not understand why a person will breed
a dog without AKC papers and NEVER plan to get them. I had no reason to believe I wasn't get the AKC
papers when I went all that way to pick her up. She asked me what was fair to pay for gas money, I was
not told upfront how much. So I didn't bring extra cash, and wasn't told to pay anything at that time either.
I agreed to send her some money, that we agreed was fair. I was suppose to get all the paperwork with
her including the AKC papers. But guess what she never had the AKC papers, and didn't tell me she
wasn't even registered with AKC !! I am having to pay all of the fees to get this done. That's fine with me.
I have no reason on earth to lie or make up things. Anyone can go and find out if she's AKC registered.
I do have better things to do with my time, so till I get the papers I will go to another venue. As nobody
cares what she does.

their AKC papers ? She bred her 2x to her males, and she doesn't have the AKC papers to give them.

And you wonder why you can't find a single person on this site who will say so much as a word in your defense, let alone in support of you?

Donna, You said “What you or I do with our dogs is nobody's business or right to tell them how to run their lives. Do I tell you how to breed your dogs. No Not everyone OFA's their dogs, so what.
Do you x ray your legs if there's nothing wrong with them, just in case.”
I use to have the same attitude as you did back when I had my “foundation bitch” Zambi several years ago, however I did OFA'ed Zambi (You can check her hips and elbows results at http://www.offa.org/results.html?all=Zambi+von+haus+Barkus) and put a BH and a show rating of a G (because of her coat, not because of her structure) on her. Only problem with her is that she had minor allergies, and I bred her. BIG mistake ever because as she aged her condition got progressively worst. The folks here told me not to breed her and I did the complete opposite. I had my ass chewed up as well as everyone is chewing you up now. I deserved it and so do you. If I had a time machine I would go back in time and kick my own ass for being so damn stubborn and ignorant. People learn from their mistakes, and I've learned from mine. Instead of taking this “I know more about you” approach you should read NWilz and workingdogz posts and learn from them, and their wealth of information.
Any responsible breeder out there would OFA or send their dogs hips and elbows to SV to get the X-rays evaluated by professional radiologist. It's ethical breeding 101. One of the most common health problems within this breed is severe Hip and Elbow Dysplasia. Perhaps you might want to get in contact with Jantie (a senior member of this site) and ask her how it feels to have to make the terrible decision of euthanizing her dog at 3 years of age because he was suffering a great deal of pain due to severe HD. You can go back in time and read her post at http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/forum.read?mnr=15427-ice--indiana-vom-wildsteiger-land--lottery-game
When it comes down to breeding I feel that it is everyones business what breeders do with their dogs because it can create conflict in the future generations to come. It can genetically contaminate the gene pool, and it can create grief both emotionally and financially to the consumers.
Before you replay back I want you to sit back and take 53:03 mins out of your time to watch this full length BBC special of Pedigree Dogs Exposed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZMegQH1SPg I want you to see what breeders are doing to the breed, not for the better but for the worst. Heres a cut scene where they talk about the German Shepherd breed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SV7elIy_Aoo They had not so kind words to say about that world VA1 Zamp vom Thermodos who won best in breed at Crufts 2008.

I am very impressed! It takes a lot to admit one was wrong.
Especially when you create a bunch of lives that will go on to
have a big impact on others like a litter of puppies will.
You were given a very hard time over the years, most times
rightfully so, but to be truthful, I always had a little respect for you
because you did get out there and do a BH on your female.
And you know, what was so ironic is, that so many that mocked
and preached to you about breeding dogs had never even done
that much!
It is too bad that you had to learn the hard way, but at least you
have learned. No one is perfect, everyone has started off in dogs
with less than stellar moments. Most of us had to learn the
hard way as well.
Now, LT$, seriously?
Not everyone OFA's their dogs, so what. Do you x ray your legs if there's nothing wrong with them, just in case |
Xraying and certifying hips and elbows in a breed with such a
high incidence of problems in these areas is a bare minimum.
The fact that you can be so ignorant to that doesn't surprise me.
I'm done, you have shown your ass so many times on this thread
and all the others you started it is hard to believe. My only hope is
that you switch breeds.

Brittany, good advice but sadly I am afraid this person does not have a) the ability to grasp the health implications, and b) doesn't care. All I can dare hope is that she decides on a different hobby to dogs. This thread should be re-titled 'inside the mind of a back yard breeder'.

said I don't care about the breed. I want to x ray them at 2 years of age, because most of the dogs
I plan on keeping forever. If I don't see a problem. I'm sorry I forgot to ask you guys, What type
of degrees do you have ??
You throw out accusations time and time again that are wrong.
AGAIN IF YOUR NOT HERE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT CHRISTIE PLEASE GO TO
ANOTHER THREAD. I AM TRYING TO GET MORE PEOPLE SO I HAVE EVIDENCE.
I do agree that x raying, health tests etc. are good for the breed. I am in the process as
we speak getting that all done for Farah, and my solid black female. I don't ever remember
saying not to do these things. I said it's nobody business if I do or not. You guys have read
some of the things on here, so WHY do you not believe the things I say about her ?????
Tell me why on earth DID SHE (not me) breeed her 2x to her males and never get her AKC
papers ???? I don't understand this. I am trying to get them now. Why doesn't she even
care if her puppy buyer's get their papers. It just does not make sense to me.
I paid $30 to get her papers from Germany, it took a whole 3 weeks. I paid $50 to do a
Foreign reg. to AKC. I paid another $40 for DNA I am trying to find out about the DM
testing and get that done, if it's not already done on her. I have her x rays and they are good.
They were taken before 2 yrs. old so I can either get an "a" stamp on her or wait and do
the xrays again now for OFA
Can someone tell me where to send the xrays for the "a" stamp and how long that takes ?
