Anyone else had trouble getting AKC papers from Christie Lanckriet, Wilkins - Page 8

LTS  you do believe in getting X rays done etc ... but you didn't bother
to do that BEFORE breeding Farah ?   You might get more empathy if
you would answer a straight question, plus didn't keep giving us info
that you subsequently deny !  Good Heavens woman, wise up or shut
up.

This board does not exist for the sole reason of complaining about Christie.  And when you post on a forum unless you own the forum, you don't have the authority to pick who posts on a thread.  Some serious self examinations need to take place.  Did you fulfill the contract?  No, travel is included in the contract.  With gas prices fluctuating as they do, if someone gives you a price for travel before they do it,  it will always be very high.  Travel by the way generally covers more then just gas.  Try a taxi.  If you have never been to her kennel how can you comment on how her dogs are kept?  Yet you get mad if you think people are commenting about you or your dogs unjustly.  So the thing that makes you mad you yourself are guilty of.  all I can say is interesting.

And we shall see.........................................who comes here to complain about no papers since ads are up and pups are inline to sell. $1250 up anyone interested?

Again, I do not trust her at all.  She said she had the AKC papers and I would get them.
That's a lie.  If I gave her the money she is requesting today, I would not get the AKC papers
from her.  She's told me that our contract is "null and void "  cause I came on here.  I  had no
choice but to try and find more people than I already have, stating they've been screwed by her.

At this time I can't say anymore than MY puppy buyers will get their AKC papers.

She also never gave me a gas price, till the day after I got home with the dog.
And in her words, she was just charging me for gas.  It cost me $75-$80 for gas.
Even if I triple that is doesn't come to $375 !    I drove 10 hours to meet her so she
was not going out of her way.  She was on her way to the Sieger Show and was
already going to the same spot I met her at.  She got mad because she got lost.
I went exactly where she told me to meet her and she was not there and did not
show up.  She told me to stop somewhere close by and get her an address
and she would come to me.  I waited almost 2 hours.  I did not know I was paying
at that time, as we really didn't discuss it.  She asked me "what I thought was fair
to pay her " ?  I think I replied with an amount and said I wasn't sure  how much.
She emailed me the following day after I got home with the dog.  She demanded
I pay her $375.  Nobody else is going to call me a liar.  I have every single email
between the two of us, if anyone wants to see them.

LTS -  On THIS thred (& I can't be arsed to trawl back through the other
shouty ones) THE ONLY INFO YOU GAVE RE FARAH'S HIPS IS:

She was a German import + you have the German paperwork.
She has  "good"  hips.   Well assuming the paperwork is in order
and therefore her hips were done prior to export, 'good' isn't an SV
grading / definition.

You say you do believe in Xray-ing but prefer to do it at 2 years old.
You say that therefore you are going through the process of seeking
appropriate health clearances for Farah and for your all-black.

There is no metion of dates, SV or OFA results on your website,
either on Farah's page or the page selling her pups.

So I HAVE taken note of what you have told us;  it still doesn't add up,
and I have every right to say so & seek better answers.

If you JUST want other ppl to join you in complaining about Christie
then you have to be prepared to wait a long while, I guess;  you
might think there are lots of others out there also sold a 'pig in a
poke' but they don't seem to be rushing forward, do they !  And mean-
while, how would you have the right to escape criticism ?

About my female Farah.  I'm still in the process of finding out exactly what
tests if any she did, before I purchased her.  I'm new to going the German
"a"  stamp way.   When I asked about her  hips (before I got her)  she said the
xrays were in Germany and I  had to wait.  But when I picked up the dog, guess
what I have the x rays.
I do have a question.  Do I have to send the xrays to Germany or somewhere
else to get her stamp ?  And no I didn't put any dates on my site.  My black girl
isn't  2 yrs. till April. She is for sale with AKC papers in hand, with a guarantee
to OFA.  Otherwise she will be xrayd at 2 yrs. old.

You have to join the WDA or UScA to be able to send the films through them with the required fees. There are several lines of info that must be on the film plate and they have to be taken within a certain amount of time before submission. It's best to check their websites to see if what you have is even ok to send in.

WDA or UScA will send them to Germany for the "a" stamp evaluation.

I bought a female import from Christie and the transaction was flawless. I would purchase from her again. CYA no matter how honest a seller is. It just makes good business sense.
