what do you think about ceasar milan

dragonfry

by dragonfry on 19 February 2013 - 18:02

Love him or hate him, he really has brought interest to at least basic dog training and shown that most problems are fixable. The owner just need a little education and a helping hand. Even if you totally hate his training methods, he has preached that dogs are not dispoable and the problem can be fixed. Sometimes by finding a better suited owner.
He doesn't bother me at all but i'm not a follower either.
Hope others reply.

i can agree with that, i personally dont down anyones method for anything, (dogs or anything else) as long as your not being destructive, and your getting results ROCK ON..........i have always thought he was very interesting......and he does KNOW A LOT

Hired Dog

Met the guy up in LA, before he became famous. Very personable, very outgoing. He found a niche and due to his personality and the proper support and exposure, he was able to become famous and a millionaire. The methods he preaches about have been around for 100 years and he has the whitest teeth I have ever seen.

@ Hired Dog
<he has the whitest teeth I have ever seen?>

Ha , ha, ha!!

He certainly seems to know what he is doing and is able to help people.  Unfortunately, all the television coverage has resulted in everyone and his aunty wanting to be pack leaders and roll their dogs - if they don't know what they are doing someone will get hurt.

I think Cesar is a behavorist.  He observes the behavior of a dog and knows what causes it. Then he takes the necessary steps to fix it.  What is amazing to me is his ability to fix it.  I donot know why anyone would not like him and it is for sure that they can learn something.  Because he knows what he is doing, and recognizes the signs the dogs give he can do the "impossible".  I donot know why anyone would critisize him.  If anyone disagrees with his methods, I would like to know what it is you disagree with and more improtantly, "WHY"?   ecs

I watch him and like his approach.  He reads people as well as he read dogs.

I have never seen him 'roll' a dog, runag.

I don't care for him and don't recommend that if someone has a serious issue with a dog, follow his methods. There have been a few posts on here about him. I give whoever has marketed him credit for his notority but other than that.............

I agree his methods are nothing new so again whoever does his marketing kudo's

White teeth.... cute good laugh
