I don't think it is a case of people with weak dogs keeping away, it is more likely to be people who cannot forgive the falsified pedigrees and hip scores. Nobody questions MG's knowledge of the German Shepherd, but his past does not reflect honesty or genuine concern for the integrity of the breed.

He was not alone in his lying and cheating, doing the breed injustices
He earnt a fortune out of cheating G.S.D people,
and most of those who he cheated would buy off him again, and go under him, as a judge that is.
given enough reason the worst dog in the show could win, good or bad temperament,
so you can't say weak temperament dog would stay away,
good judge, he's a cheat and no judgment from him would be of any value to the breed,
and if you have any of his breeding in your pedigree, cross it out and all that is behind it, and the others involved, should be named shamed and ostracized,
buy the way you will see his buddies at the 2 day show, hoasted by the G S D club of Wales,

Gotcha....anyway, I'm pretty sure I don't have any of his dogs in my pedigrees.

Bob, Would you like to be judged forever more for how you've behaved in the past? I bet you wouldn't... given some of your behaviour!
I'm a firm believer in people being given another chance. He did what he did and he paid a hefty price.
BTW I've never had one of his dogs, I've never even shown under him before but I have watched him judge and it was a pleasure. I hope to show mine under him this year at the 2day National as do many others.

bob, you must forgive these people ( jamesie51 & babs ) for a start they probably have not been cheated out of thousands ( that is stud fees and puppies ) and think its best to side with poor old malcolm incase it helps their showing.not only did he cheat us all he did a runner before we could recoup our loses!
so in my book anyone who enters his show knowing what he did are giving a disservice to the breed, and how could you ever trust him again ?

@ Justice4us, (nauseating user name btw) You are correct, I didn't lose thousands of £'s in puppy sales and stud fees... I don't have dogs to make money out of them; clearly, that's your criteria. I have no need or desire to curry favour in the hope that my dog/s will be well placed... you must be confusing your mindset with mine.
Bob, If you think a 10 year ban was the only price he's paid... think about it. People get less for murder! Sorry you still feel so bitter.

As for your diatribe about having dogs for monetry gains, it would appear that you think its bad ideology for us but ok for griffith to make money from false pedigrees, what ever you think he has suffered for his crimes let me assure you its not enough.There again with plenty of appologists like yourself he probably will come out from under a stone if there is money to be made.

i bought two bitches from malcolm in the early 90's (1994/5) both beautiful specimins of the with breed super temperaments (Bedwins Jacca,and Bedwins Valerra) i have no complaints, so you see justice you just dont know what you are talking about,i do not condone what he did but he paid a high price for it and has served his time, some people have got less time for murder, he is a very knowledgable person as far as this breed is concerned and has probably forgot more than most will ever know and i will most certainly enter under him because unlike some on here i do not live in the past life goes on and moves on. Looking forward to the 2day show.
