@ Justice,  Rather a short post to be described as a diatribe... interesting.  An apologist?

He has been punished... clearly, you can't get over what it apparently cost you so, you come on here, anonymously, and bemoan your sorry lot.  Get over it, move on.  Have a nice life, enjoy your dogs.

Tell me how  do you know that the pedigree of those dogs you bought of him were genuine, the same as any future dogs he breeds how will you know ?.That is why he should be banned infinitem 1 The solution would be DNA, then watch em all head for the hills.

back in the day how did we know any pedigree was genuine we took the breeders word for it,we will never know,i did not breed from these 2 females so if they were not correct then i could not pass on incorect details simple unlike you justice i am not in this breed to make money i am in it because i truly love this breed,and if you want to call me an apologist does not bother me you see the difference between us justice is i moved on you are still in the past bearing grudges i think its time you grew up, got away from the childish comments and move on

Sometimes it seems that some of you forget that breeding is an art, an art of LUCK as much as anything else. 

You cry over your lines, yet your lines are built on say-so. No one really knows what dog bred what bitch less they were there, and even then, do you know the dog you have is the dog you think it is?

Malcolm Griffiths clearly created nice dogs that people wanted. Get over it! Start looking at the dog in front of you, and not its pedigree!!

dantes: so tell me if you bought a washing machine that looked nice but was not fit for purpose you would be happy ?  no wonder there are crooks in this world.

I for one, want to be sure my dogs background is what it says on the paperwork, I look at what is behind a dog as well as the dog in front of me as, when it comes to breeding, what you see isn't always what you get.  I'm sure my dogs pedigrees are accurate because the ones I haven't owned belong to people who I know have integrity and the same desire for the integrity of the breed.  Also the attitude that it doesn't matter if you lie about a dogs breeding as long as it sells or wins or lie about a dogs hip status, does not suggest truthfulness in other areas.  How would you feel if you bred a litter of dysplastic puppies from a dog with a 0.0 hip score and found out later that the dog had failed the A stamp, the score was a fake and a litter of cripples could have been avoided if you had known the truth?

Funny enough Bob, I don't have to use my imagination, I had a friend back in the 1970's who turned out to be an occupational burglar, very likeable guy, life and soul of the pub, really liked to share his good fortune with others.  He got sent down for stealing a vicar's cheque book and guarantee card from his jacket in a church, but was a model prisoner and had the chance for parole, could be out for Christmas if he had somewhere respectable to go.  I felt sorry for him, season of goodwill and all that, he'd never done me any harm so I let him stay at my house.  After Christmas, he nicked 3 cheques from the back of my chequebook and the most saleable of my Christmas presents!  Still he was a nice guy and knew his trade.
