justice4us, It doesn't matter who gave him the appointment, most committees  today, select people they know, or who think will give them a good entry. You have to remember this show is in the middle of no where! so the selection of Malcolm is an excellent choice, the curiosity value will in itself demand a good entry. I think Malcolm is a football agent covering South America. It's me who is a car salesman!!!!  ps I have a very nice little run around for sale if you're interested!!!

Justice4us and Eddyelevation, I don't supose you will be going to the 2 day then! Shame, I'm sure you would have enjoyed it, even just to see some good dogs. 

Yes Blerio we will be at the 2 day show,but not for entering any dogs-we would not lower ourselves.

Eddyevaluation, I was reading the thread about Walter Martin, some of you're posts are unbelievable, you say you had a shepherd when you were 18, (how old are you now) not sure of the breeding, wasn't a great character, but he was you're friend. That's all well and good, but it doesn't qualify you to slag off people who have over many years, influenced the breed. You're knowledge  about our breed,and breeding is probably none existent. You also make derogatory remarks about another person on this thread Malcolm Griffiths who you probably don't know or have met and talked to. Untill you possess the knowledge and understanding about this breed, and know what you're talking about, may I suggest you keep you're own council.

Not sure how I feel about Louis Donald gushing about what a great
mate MG has been to him (UTube link from eddy);  but I reckon the
guy has served his time, and should be 'allowed' to judge.   After all
he'll just be giving his opinions;   not like he is back producing stock
himself,  (at least at the moment) ?   The only Bedwin's dog that has
affected pedigrees around me is Pirol, and we were fairly sure that
was before MG started faking records to the extent that others became
victims... although maybe I would feel differently if I'd been one of the
people caught with a later dog whose parentage was unconfirmed.

I don't have a dog to show, else I would probably enter -  I'd quite
like to hear what MG had to say about any dog of mine;  and I'll be
very interested in what he has to say generally about current animals.
Feel we should not 'polarise' over this;  let those who are willing to go
under him do so, there will be other Shows and other years, for exhibitors
who really cannot bear to.  You don't HAVE to trust him, but at least be
prepared to find that he HAS 'learned his lesson' and reformed - at least
give him that chance.

You say you have been cheated out of thousands in studs & pups, did you get guarantees of studs that would earn you thousands??? No one sells a dog with a guarantee of any studs!!! I think you didn't recoup your losses because all you would have been awarded was the price & possibly the rearing of the dog you purchased not what you think you should have made cos as i said before THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES OF STUDS!!! I think your bitterness is due to resentment for how Malcolm is still thought of among the GSD community & that you obviously don't have his ability, knowledge & contribution to make to the breed.
