I believe the AKC will take the date of the contract or the date of bill of sale as the date the dog transferred ownership KitKat.

I have never heard of  a clause that says you can not bring something public.

Betty a lot of business even have that kind of statement in their employment contract.
its whole purpose is to keep their name from  being draged through the mud with out a chance to try to settle it privately.

Perhaps I should of been a bit clearer, yes posting on FB that your boss is  a no good sob and your company is run by Satan's Spawn can
get you fired regardless of a written employment contract.

I have seen  and signed a lot of contracts in my life and I have never seen a clause like that in anything remotely close to the contract for
a sale of a dog.

Well, the clause didn't work very well.

The clause will work, especially if it is taken to a court level..

Again...every document I use has been drafted by my attorney, and he has used various contracts we have both seen.  And, it is designed to make adults do business as adults..not like junior high girls...

I will only say, I would never sign such a clause. I'd take my sharpie marker, cross it out, and initial it.  Whoo boy. But I wouldn't ever entertain to do half the things that were done by the buyer and the seller, on this thread!

"so I told her that the dog could travel in the dog trailer as we traveled to the North American Sieger Show.  The fuel charges from point A to point B came to be $350."

So the buyer is supposed to fund your trip to a show?  And you were going anyway?

Once my trainer was going to a trial with my dog + 3 others. The trip, gas/food were split equally 4 ways, and we each paid our part. I don't think one person should pay for the whole trip.
I don't think LTS should have to pay the whole cost of the trip, especially since she was making the trip anyway.

In Donna's defense (I'm defending her this time) the $350 for fuel cost seems a bit expensive. I was wondering if their was something wrong with Cesna's vehical that required $350 worth of gas? If so then it's not Donna's fault. I would like to know how much did it cost (gas wise) to drive out, and to meet Donna.

LMS why don't you get off your high horse, pay the $350 and get the paperwork??  You have obviously made enough  money from the puppies to cover it?  I think I know why - it is because you would rather complain.  You have gotten enough mileage from this.
