ORRY - http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=450382-orry-it

He is still alive, perfect health without any gray hairs & runs around like a puppy.

My Nala was 131/2 years old when I had to put her down.  She had a dysplastic elbow and HD but neither ever slowed her down until the end.  She was one tough BITCH!!  Sire was Omar V D Arjans-Hoeve and Dam was Anda Rontu-Aru.  Her grandsire on sires side was Arko Honest. Miss her .

Unless something has changed, you don't have to be a member of the GSDCA in order to have your dog added to the 13 Club list--the only requirements are that the dog is AKC-registered, and is a GSD.

That's good to know, hexe. I hope people are using it then! Are non-GSDCA members able to easily access the full records though? I may be wrong, but it looks like the online 13 club link I found only shows the most recent entries...or maybe I'm using it incorrectly.

Daryl, you saved me the trouble of emailing you! Whoo-hoo! Go Faro! ;-)

Everything you need to know about the GSDCA 13 Club can be found  here;  a searchable database of dogs enrolled in the club is available here, though I don't think it's a complete list going back to the start of the club since it only contains about 300 records--my first GSD, who died in 1996, is a member, but she's not listed and I don't see any dogs born prior to the mid-90's.  You don't need to know the dog's full name--you can just enter a part of the dog's name, and it will bring up all of the enrolled dogs that contain a match.  For dogs born prior to the mid-90's, I would guess that you could contact the GSDCA member who presently maintains the list and inquire about specific dogs.  Noticed that there are some errors showing in the on-line database, such as dogs listed with birth dates of April 2011, for example, but nothing's perfect.
