The Blu-ray from Shellshots shows the same things as the earlier video of Ebor and the helper on the back half protection which none of you wanted to believe when it was posted the first time.  The camera work shows less of the approach (tighter shots) and does not show the dog before he is directly in front of the helper leaving out the critical view of the helper dropping and then raising the sleeve when Ebor is 12-15 feet in front of the helper as seen in the lower res video.  The video does show the helper turning and jerking the sleeve higher as Ebor tries to bite.  I am disappointed that the Shellshots video does not show the approach which was where the entire helper chain of mistakes started.  It will take a lot of work for me to clean up the screen shots and make them clear and better quality than the previous low res video which I will not take the time to do.  I have spent enough time and money on this topic and this forum.  I find it disappointing and troubling that most people on this forum don't give a crap about the truth.  Whether it be Ivan Balabanov and Ebor getting screwed by bad helper work at the AWDF or some marketing con game.  In the fullness of time all will be resolved .. Balabanov and Ebor were the best dog and handler at the AWDF 2013.  The truth is resilient and enduring,    I have nothing to learn from any of you that I can't learn easier and faster somewhere else and I never want to waste my time that I could be spending with my dogs on any of your discussions ever again.  So as the regulars here like to say on this forum "be careful who you listen to" because as far as I can tell you are all more than capable of substituting belief for truth or science and never bother to research the science behind your superstitions and beliefs.  A friend told me once that the people inhabiting the world of dogs and dog breeding were the most dishonest and untrustworthy group of people he had ever dealt with but I think he was sugar coating it as it is a lot worse than that.

Too bad the Shellshots video doesn't show more :-(
.I guess we'll have to wait for the WUSV Championship to see how the AWDF top three do against the rest of the World.  Lucky for you all, it's GSD's only.

For what passes as fair  [edited]  compare the back half catch that O'Kane's dog got with what Ebor got.  The helper poked the sleeve down into O'Kane's dog's mouth and jerked it up and far away from Ebor .. how does that happen ??  One dogs gets help and then Ebor gets the sleeve jerked out of his mouth .. watch the slow motion Blu-Ray it is clear as day.  There was nothing fair about what happened to Ebor that day he got a different look and catch than the rest of the top 5 and Ebor should have been #1 with better and more fair helper work.  Spend $70 as I did for the Blu-Ray and you can see just how good the helper work really was and how fair. In other words, BooBoo,  your blue-ray video does NOT substantiate your claims!   So, you say you are leaving and do a  tap-dance on your way out the door, playing martyr all the way.  Adieu!! Adios!  Sayonara!   A bientot!  Toodle-loo, Later, and BYE.

But, of course, you will be right back tomorrow.  Regular Smile  It's really just hasta la vista.

Bubbabooboo
Well now you have seen another version which shows you not a lot more than we all saw in the prior videos; As i said i was not against you for seeing the videos in another way than some folk. What i was against you was the way you totally ignored two people who were at the event watching one said it rained and the ground became sticky or soft the other said she took a video of the event but could not get the angles which showed up better. I said a dog can get stuck in the ground as it launches for take off and this can cause its rear legs to slip and the flight of the dog is then changed in its attack it happens so fast. We know what can happen to any dog in the sport we should know we are working in the sport. Finally all everyone on this forum who commented on it were interested in one thing only and that was the dog was not hurt nor was the helper. that Bubba is the only thing which matters when a bite like this goes wrong.
It is your lack of being honest and straight in your answering peoples questions and your blatant lack of sportsmanship which was plain for all to see and your idea that this dog lost the championship though the fault of the handler, you insisted the judge would given it high enough points to win but not you or anyone else could know what the judge would have given him, so you were in fact taking the glory away from the true champion again very bad sportsmanship. I guess that is you, Bubba is right every time and i bet it is the same in real life for you. No Bubba it is time to act like a man if you make a mistake then say so and be up front when asked questions. But i would not hold my breath on you doing that.

Hi Steve:

Here in the US we have a issue with arm chair quarterbacking. Many who have never stepped out on a trial field to title a dog know every thing. There have been several certified helpers who are constantly working dogs on a high level speak to this thread and it,s nonsense. I hope this finds you and your dogs well.

by kyto on 20 June 2013 - 09:06

back to the video, my opinion the dog missed, althoug i couldn't see if the helper kept a straight line towards the dog if he didn't it's always helpers fault according to my mentor julien
unlike selfproclaimed goeroe  booboo who claimes that sideway's moving isn't as bad as vertical we always move the sleeve up to make a dog jump the helper decides when not the dog!!!
if however i would step out of my line to force a dog to a side or started to "scoop" up a dog julien would kill me.
and booboo just to name a few dogs who were trainned this way and you tell me if they had a good long attack/backtransport
zender vom lusondai
devil van rietnisse
sandokan van't heukske
eclips van de duvetorre
stoned van de duvetorre
hasco van de duvetorre
turcodos van de duvetorre (was juliens dog before ivan bought him)
notice i've put also 2 GSD just to make sure nobody would think it can only be done whit a mali
booboo if you really want to help dogsport progress into the future, get yourself a cat and stay away from any kind of dog !!!

Good Grief, Too bad the Shell shots video doesn't show a better angle or clearer view of what  happened. The results weren't ever going to change and no ones opinion is going to change. Why are people still posting? Ironically it seems to be the same people complaining about how long the thread was and calling for it to be locked?  Like Western Rider posted if you want the thread to
drop to the bottom of the cue? Quit posting.

You brought up a very good point Steve,  I did wonder if Ivan was happy about this thread
since he seems to have shrugged it off as a bad break or luck but I never did consider
how the person that actually did win feel about a thread that goes on and on about
another dog being robbed of the championship and is the actual winner.

Kind of sucks for them.
