..... AND ...... Chip Helmer was practically first in line to get a female pup out of Quax who was just imported to the United States, and I was the first breeder in the UNITED STATES to get a litter out of this highly sought after stud http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=118723-quax-von-schlo-taunusstein ~
Chip Helmer met with me in person with Lea at an AKC show in Missoula, Montana almost 2 years after I sold him this puppy and I took that photo of her with him... Chip was so PROUD of her.

Karon of VonSonnenberg sold Chip a puppy 17 years ago, but failed to register the PUPPY (not LITTER) before selling it.... which gives Chip carte blanche to name the puppy whatever he wishes...
Then, 2 years later, Karon of VonSonnenberg takes a photo of Chip and the now adult dog at a AKC dog show.. but fails to notice that its NAME is changed...
Then, fifteen years later, Karon of VonSonnenberg posts THAT EXACT picture on her facebook page, and adds titles to the dog, even though this dog NEVER earned ANY titles.
Additionally, Karon of VonSonnenberg entered this dog (along with many of its siblings) into THIS database, and entered inaccurate information about the hip scores and titles of the dog...
Did I make any errors?? That is what I am taking away from this thread.
Additionally, I noticed that the dog in question (Leah) has a DAM with a CD title, yet AKC seems to have no record of that title being earned..
AND... its siblings/half siblings (that would be Baron, Ingar, Orion, Sorscha) have hip ratings added to their pedigrees that are NOT on OFA's website...
I am not in favor of AKC's "name changing" policy, and HAVE been the victim of TRUE forgery, but I seriously do not have any sympathy for the breeder in this case..
If you REALLY want to have your kennel prefix on your puppies, then DO THE WORK required to GET a REGISTERED KENNEL NAME and REGISTER your puppies BEFORE you send them to new homes!!!
There is NO excuse you can give me or many on this board who will accept adding FAKE ratings to dogs that you bred...
I don't know ANY "world class breeders" who make THAT many mistakes entering information into a database...

As the litter owner I had registered all five pups from the "L" Litter in Pedigree Database over 5 years ago on 16 December 2008.
My goal is and has always been for the Quax x Gretchen progeny list to be accurate.
Because GSD Lineage (admin) created a new pedigree for Leah Von Helmer on 14 October 2013, there appeared to be 6 progeny for Quax x Gretchen.
So I deleted the original pedigree for Lea von Sonnenberg Hof, and now the progeny list is accurate with 5 progeny, 2 Males and 3 Females
Lazer von Sonnenberg Hof AKC DL74163401 - Male
Leopold von Sonnenberg Hof AKC DL74163402 - Male
Lexis von Sonnenberg Hof AKC DL74163403 - Female
L Panzer von Sonnenberg Hof AKC DL74163404 - Female
Leah Von Helmer AKC DL74163405 - Female

This matter is now resolved.
Sincerely,
Karon Melillo DeVega
