Jenni78, I am in love with the dog in your avatar. How handsome.
Great pix, VKGSD.
Not to leave anyone out, all the dogs in this thread are beautiful examples of the breed.

Thanks for posting Funny's photos, Jenni. I can no longer use the advanced form on this website, so couldn't post them myself.

Funny was the best dog I ever owned. I would give 10 years of my life to have her sitting here next to me.

What a fun thread. All really lovely dogs.

Here is our dog camping in Meadow Lake Provincial Park this summer.

Laura, his intense face reminds me of someone I used to know....lovely head on that dog.

Thank-you Jenni. It's my only photo of Bosco that captures what he's actually like. Love, love this dog- he's defended me twice this week from an attacking Golden Eagle.

I HATE this pic of me. He was just under 2 here, I think. The "look" only got less friendly as he matured. Hardly ever captured it in pics because I was usually behind the camera; his face, when looking at me, was far softer.

Laura, a few things you've said about Bosco remind me a lot of Caleb, minus the dog issues. I got lucky there. You'll probably never have another quite like that...I keep trying to breed for one, and I get close, and I'm happy, but they're not the same.

Jenni - That's a very beautiful photo of the two of you. Caleb is always stunning in any photo that you've posted. I think you are correct - it's unlikely that we'll ever find another dog like Bosco so we'll appreciate him while he's here.
