GSD, you don't need proof that the owner has been informed.  What you do need and you do have proof of is that the SV has revoked/invalidated these titles.

You now know for a fact that the title is not earned and is in fact false on this dog.  That is the basis that you need to act.  There is no provision that the owner has to be notified in order for the SV determination to be valid. 

I have no idea if the poster is a scammer or not and I tend to believe they may not know since the voided title is from 2011.  What makes it worse is that it was his IPO1 title which invalidates his 2 and 3 title unless the SV introduces an exception (repeat the 1 and the 2 and 3 become valid).

The first step should be the admins removing his titles along with a pm explaining why it was done.

The titles on the pedigree are one thing, the classified ad is another. Do you also want us to go through the list and remove all the titles on all dogs listed? Or are we just singling out this one member?

Being sent and being received are two different matters unless sent by registered post and signed for.

I guess all my dogs are going to get all their titles upgraded since its ok to do so smh

I think it should be done on all of them honestly but I don't know who has the time to do all that?  And I'm not even sure all of them are here on the PDB.

That doesn't mean that you shouldn't correct the ones that are specifically pointed out.  I think that the fact that there is a classified ad on this dog elevates the importance of the issue for this one dog.  IMO the ad should be taken down as it is fraudulent.  Understand that I don't believe the poster knows that the titles are invalid but it doesn't change the fact that they are.  IMO the poster goes out of their way to be honest on what the dog is and isn't which leads me to think that the aren't scamming anyone ( I could be wrong, I have been before).  Regardless, the PDB has a responsibility to the potential buyers of this dog to not allow posting of fraudulent or incorrect information.  The dog only has a valid BH working title and the PDB has been made aware of this.

For the PDB to not take action does constitute fraud.  The PDB knowlingly allowed a dog to be listed (and eventually sold) knowing that his titles were not valid.  As the keeper of the records on the PDB the PDB would be held liable for any damages if this were to ever go to court.  Not saying it will just saying that the PDB is exposed to some liability here. 

IPO 1 and IPO 2 was made in Bosnia. IPO 3 ?

Is Alasko AKC registered? In case the former owner(s) ( how many former owners ? ) didn´t inform SV about the change of ownership it might be difficult for SV to find the current owner. And as soon as the current owner is no SV member SV is out of this story, sad, but true. And the responsible person ( at this point nobody isn´t even aware, if all the owners and handlers knew, that the Bosnian judge was suspended ) might not be interested to inform the current owner about these news.

Maybe this is a really good dog - who knows? This whole story is sad.

I never said we aren't going to take actions. BUT, I am not going to rush to judgement on this matter. The owner of the site has been notified and he will make the final decisions.

The SV knows of the current owner quite well as they have been trying to correct other dogs in this breeders stables

The owner knows the SV knows and this ad needs to be removed

We are currently tracing ALL dogs on PDB and will have handfuls of Pedigrees to change
