Add and dog are both fixed: https://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=721770-alasko-von-der-salztalhohe

vk4gsd, it's hard to say what the story is surrouding this.  Was there a club in Serbia that was actually holding trials and represnting this judge as an approved SV working judge, charging entry fees and having handlers actually go out onto the trial fields and perform the various exercises, leaving the handlers to believe they were being assessd in keeping with the rules and their dogs were earning real SV-recognized titles?

Or were these titles for dinara or Euros, with no more work involved than the submission of the dogs names, reg.#s, etc., the names of the handlers, title desired, and the financial exchange itself?

That it appears the affected dogs stem from a limited number of kennels, and that many [most?]  of the dogs obtained not just a single title, but all of their titles from this same Serbian non-judge, raises some caution flags...

Was this person EVER an approved judge? If yes, why the removal of the approval? If no, how did this manage to go on over the course of several rs?

This thread did seem rather a witch hunt, as anyone who's hung around here for more than a short while knows that there's no love lost between this Jenni Von and the seller of the dog this thread targeted--and there's no question that the dog and seller WERE targeted, in spite of the fact that the titles were stripped...it's not as if the seller is the one who titled the dog, so that individual is as much a victim of the funny business with the titling as anyone else who's ever purchased a dog that was later found to be carrying bogus credentials, regardless of whether you like the seller or not.

Given the ridiculous amount of money people outside of Europe are willing to pay for a titled dog, is it any real surprise that there is incentive to hang paper titles onto a dog's collar to support an inflated selling price? I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often, frankly, especially given the economic situations in several of the Eastern European countries...

don't think it is fair to pin this all on the economic situation in euro, those rich US citizens i would guess have an economic angle in mind as well when purchasing these dogs to promote their stud services, puppy sales etc.

This was clearly not posted as any scam....I have just seen this list myself.....read the list carefully you will see other kennels here in the USA with some of these dogs and clearly the titles have not yet

been removed from the database. Unfortunately some will use this as a mud slinging. When this dog was purchased I can assure you first handed the owner did not have a clue the titles were not real.

Many titled dogs here come and stand at stud and are never ask to show their skills other than every day obedience.

Perhaps Jenni you should contact or post concerning these other owners as well. I think Titles revoked would have been much better title rather than SCAM! This is clearly personal and you are using this

to voice it.

I see the name of so many kennels on this list...including...Fichtenschlag...Schneiden Fels (numerous dogs) Alaskos kennel many times as well as Saltztablick over and over again....it is unfortunate.

The purchasers are the innocents in this...however kennels or individuals who were personally involved in acquiring these titles are fully responsible.

We also have Pato di Zenevredo on the list...I am sure it will take time for all of these pedigrees to be adjusted accordingly.

*******eye roll ******

Per the SV, all the owners were notified last month, early this month.   So, the attempt by this "person" to excuse her questionable actions.....    She has advertised (as other people that own dogs on the list) here and on other locations that the dogs are titled.   Her weak attempt to claim she was just was notified on Friday is a blatent lie.    All owners, and she is one, were notified at least one month ago.  Even if you do not believe the people posting here that she was being investigated by the SV in JUNE, the official notification that people were notified a month ago shows that she is again lying about the dog.

It does not matter that she has now changed the advertisment; she did so because she was caught red handed in another lie.   The people that support her are naive and should really look at all the evidence by not only the people that have posted, but now the SV in the official notification..

Paj1212,

You are Alicia's mother and business partner.  You post with emails that go back to her. Of course, you would defend her, as it would impact you.   Alicia, your daughter and current business partner,  was notified when everyone else was.  In fact, if the the prior post is true, she knew that histitles were being investigated back in June.

Hi Bingo,

I will be banning both of your nameS as you are using a multiple. May I ask why you aren't sticking with your original name?

Side note.. As most of these TITLED dogs are in fact in the USA, also in Mexico, Canada and UK

One kennel alone in the USA has 6 of the dogs listed on the revoked list..
