Disclaimer: I'm not supporting or defending any particular person or persons on this topic. All I'm saying is that until the SV stripped the titles obtained under that particular judge, it's unlikely that any of the owners of any of the dogs on that 10 page list--which, one should note, did not carry anything on it that validated it as having come unedited from the SV--had any reason to question the authenticity of the dogs' titles.
vk4gsd, wasn't trying to pin it all on the economy in Europe, merely pointing out that it's surprising it doesn't happen more often, since a lot of buyers outside of the European continent probably don't even test the dogs they buy to see if they actually know the exercises they were allegedly trained to perform. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone picking up their imported, titled dog at the airport, taking the dog home and testing it a few days later to verify the dog works like a titled dog ought to, and subsequently returns the dog because the dog clearly had little familiarity with the routines. Though I HAVE heard more than one person comment on getting an imported dog that obviously was rushed through the title[s] under a 'Santa Claus' judge...

Surely the answer is to remove the titles and leave everything else alone unless there are any oher anomalies.

Christina what kennel in the US has 6 dogs on the list? I haven't gotten to really look at it, just saw a bunch of Salztalblick dogs

Wow, this is just insane. There is a Kennel here in Cali that has 7 dogs on the list. That is crazy and what's more insane is that many are from the same kennel in Germany.
I hope this all gets sorted out soon....wow!!!!!

Where is this master list of dogs that will have stripped titles to be found ? I,m confused were dogs in question that got titles rushed through to get titles or titled under a fake judge or both ? Also does it mean that some of these big name kennels were scamming people to get titles on dogs falsely,sorry I do not know about this story very well. The add in Question seems honest to me but I never saw it as it was first posted.

susie has confirmed that this Gojkovic Andrija [or maybe it's Andrija Gojkovic, 'cause Andrija seems more like the first name, and Gojkovic a surname...but I don't know any Serbian or Bosnian, so I could be wrong], anyway, susie confirmed that he has been suspended by the SV, but I don't know that she's gotten any of the specifics, nor what the SV plans on doing as far as the affected dogs, breeders and owners are concerned.
It would be nice to at least find out if the documents on the above link can be verified, before this gets too far out of hand.

From what I have heard some dogs are being reinstated of their TITLES ...
One kennel that I seen who had alot of the dogs on this list is Paska Well known kennel in NC that breeds Soild blacks
Kennel von Wiese (Kennel of the Meadows)-- they have a good bit of the dogs listed

We aren't going to remove titles off pedigrees until we see an official list, if an official list is never released we will cross that bridge when we get to it. We will remove any ads for these dogs if the titles are used to try and sell the dogs. We would appreciate if any member sees a dogs for sale on the list if the titles are used in the ads,send us a PM with the link to the ad.

The letter makes it clear that the titles are stripped from the dogs. Hearing different without written proof is just rumor mongering. There is no basis for them to go reinstate a title here and there. The judge was suspended for the entire period. The sv already did their investigation prior to the stripping of the titles. They have already decided what to do.

BZ, there are dogs that only made their IPO II / III in Bosnia, in that case the pedigrees need to be corrected, but these dogs are still titled. Others only made their IPO I over there, later on they trialed in Germany or somewhere else. They might get the opportunity to repeat the IPO I, I´m not sure.
A lot of investigation - people shouldn´t start a witch-hunt right now.
