Susie,

All true but NONE of them are getting their titles reinstated

None of the titles earned under Gojkovic after he was suspended - that´s right.

Why was this able to happen? Gojkovic is no SV judge, but FCI judge, we have to recognize FCI titles. Bosnia didn´t even inform SV, Slovenia (!) informed SV this summer...
I always try to stay unbiased, but I don´t want to know what else is possible...

Thanks Hexe for reposting that link, so does that mean all the dog names in blue and with blue dates are the dogs  on the list in Question about titles valid or not ? ,some seem to be saying this is fact set in stone others say its not, what will make it official a signed notorized letter from the president of the SV ? Or is this a fight between the FCI and the SV if title will be valid or not ?

If a dog recieved and IPO 1 from this judge. Then recieved 2 and 3 by another judge the dog will loose everything.if the IPO3 is done under this judge it will be removed but the sv says you must redue this title and then all is returned.

It seems very unfair to the dogs owners and trainers and handlers of these dogs IF they got these titles fair and square, very hard to believe that many dog owners would pay for a judge to slap a title on a dog in case something under the table was going on.If no real hanky -panky going on why doesnt the SV let the titles stand and learn from wherever the mistake was made ? I heard someone speaks english in the SV why doesnt someone post to straighten this all out ?

Bundishep,

The sv says that the judge was not fci recognized.  All else is extra detail that muddies up the facts.  They can't let the titles stand because they weren't given out by an accredited judge.  To leave the titles in place weakens the strength of the titling program and sets a dangerous precedent.  If you get enough dogs through, the sv won't do anything to you, which will lead to more talk about fake titles.

So the sv did what it had to and what was right. They removed the titles because they weren't earned from a recognized judge. It sucks for the dogs and the owners.  In pato's case, he keeps his first va because he still had a valid ipo2 title. He will lose his repeat va titles because you have to be an ipo3 to repeat.  The dog is still a valid VA everyone should relax about that.

In the past, the sv has made exceptions similar to what pato s owners are talking about but I have heard nothing about that this time.  Absent any proof from anyone, it is safe to say that the titles will not be restored, they will have to be 're earned as if they never had them in the first place. Because as far as the sv is concerned, they didn't.

This is no reflection on the owners and there is no reason to believe that they knew our did anything wrong.  In a complex system, sometimes things break down and that is what happened in this case.  It was a system failure and not an owner failure.

That helps me understand better,a very sad thing to hear about, it sounds like the dogs owners were tricked in thinking they had an accredited judge, to me it seems like the judge should never be reinstated if he went in full knowing he lost his judge standing before each trial. As you said somekind of breakdown of the system,my question would be could this ever happen in America also ? It boggles my mind how something could go on for so long before someone caught wind of it.

Theres at lease one other thread on this topic going on at the same time.... Pato,s owners seem very  upset but I dont see anyone attacking saying bad things about their dog and thats not what this whole thing is about,on the other thread someone said the SV is not accepting a croatian club as a FCI accredited club so that seems to be another matter still. I,m suspect more light will be shed on the whole matter as time goes by.
