Very good attitude and appetite for the bite work.  Interesting exhibition heel work but I prefer the dogs to be more aware of whats around him.  As a handler I would not want to walk down the high street like that.

Yes, long hair working lines do exist, they work & compete just as hard as the short or smooth hair German Shepherds, it is all about genetics & temperament, hair is just a matter of preference. Actually, the long hair GSD, when running down the working field, looks very impressive and very beautiful, the hair is flowing with the speed of the dog and you can't help, but smile.. at least I can't..

I have a female that comes from a well known Czech Frankie Anrebi line (grandaughter), the multi times winner of KNPV (Holland) and WUSV, she is of awesome lineage, gorgeous dog, very hardworking, highly intelligent & hard working, she passes all those qualities & talents to her pups.. the Sire was chosen to make sure there will be a few pups with long hair in the litter as well as his good looks.. I have 3 black long hair female pups and one black long hair male pup, home raised, they are highly intelligent (very well bred), very stable temperament, love playing ball and love their food (both drives are great), eager to please and will stand their ground, all these makes them perfect sports dogs.. If I could only keep them all, lol.. still, I am keeping one long hair female pup..

I hardly ever comment, but this time I couldn't resist being so proud and so enfatuated with those long hair puppies! How can one resist such beauty among working dogs, although since I am such a afficionado of German Shepherds & other working breeds.

Best regards to all working breeds enthusiasts & many medals for the dogs...

I have a long coat Drago son out of a Bomber daughter. Very much a working line dog with the drives and personality to match.
