Look at the ped of Hank Weinbergerblick. Most every "work line" dog's ped contains Arminius and weinerau dogs, plus line breedings on tons of other "show lines". I have had only One dog that did Not contain "show lines" in the pedigree.

However, I am Not advocating breeding for EXTREEME anything, nor advocating breeding for color. In the BREED, period.

That was addressed to KitKat based on a private conversation we were having at the time. It was said tongue in cheek. The last time I posted any photos of my V rated, Sch 3, GSL participating in Sch I was told here that she took the jump like a rabbit and was a down in the ass POS loser. Yes, those were the words used and that message received a number of likes too.

Glad to see that the tide is turning some, maybe more will stop looking at pedigrees before they look at what the dog is doing.

All I can say is, judging all members by the actions of a few is.....well, just have a look at our society. :(

How can one look at a ped first? Unless the dog's name is posted before the dog is, or when seen live. I generally look up a ped AFTER I see something in a dog that makes me want to learn about that dog. Hank, for example.

Joan, I put up the heading, only to cause people to look at the video. Thats one of my pups, this past fall. She just turned two, she is a work in progress. I am trying to load the videos of her doig bitework, and stopping a car jack scenario.

   She is an awesome dog, as is her sister.

   Everyone here should know, I believe in one line of German Shepherd. I don t care about color, I care. about the dog, and the breed. When I breed a litter, I am breeding for the best dogs I can possibly produce, those that conform to the standard, in mind and body.

   I want everyone to HAVvE the potential to be a police dog, AS WELL AS, a loyal family protector/companion.

 

I find it VERY dishearteningg that there was over 100 pages here, on the declinne of the breed. I love this breed. I take, and have a great deal of pride in my dogs..

I will be trainig with this particular trainer in the upcominngdays.
