Oh so your friend knows how his 12 week old baby puppy will fully mature including temperament, drives, nerves, structure, and health? LOL I can tell you NO ONE does, even very experienced breeders with great knowledge of those bloodlines.
Get a reality check or at least have enough respect for the breed and don't breed your dog, since ALL you have been able to tell us about her is that she has good drives, no food drive, her size, and that she was a bargain puppy.

Plus you admit to knowing nothing about the dog, but still have chosen him for breeding? Yeah its hard to argue that you aren't in this for money, because that is exactly what it looks like. Blindly breeding, no goals, producing pointless puppies.

I remember as a child seeing in the newspaper that a local pond had been stocked with 500 trout. 3 of the fish were tagged with prizes of $25, $15, and $10. Well my brother and I [ preteens] went out and bought fishing line [ no poles] and hooks and were making plans on how to spend the forty dollars we thought was ours just for the effort. Well we didn't even get a trout dinner for our efforts. OP get involved, with local trainer/breeders and evolve.

Thanks windy torres for showing the rest of us that we are fools for trying to bring a breed that is in a great deal of trouble, back to it's former self. All the weekends of training, and running, and all I had to do was find a male with the biggest head!!! wow I feel stupid for wasting all that training time. Looking at your dogs pedigree I will bet my last dollar that it would take me about half an hour to get it to bite one time a puppy rag after I waved it in front its face and put about 15 mins of prey into it. Would bite like shit and would run around sniffing the dirt more then healing with you. Unfortunately I have seen way to many of your dogs being products and not enough true GSD's. SO make your money the AKC could care less so why should you.

But Riven, the stud puppy has a big head and good pigment! What other criteria should there be? Wink Smile

"...yes for sure when the time comes I will breed her."

Thanks for going ahead and putting this out there so I know not to waste any more of my time answering your questions.

Oh, and thanks in advance for contributing to this, 1.2 million dogs per year in the U.S:

Most of a dog you see in rescue comes from police cause they wouldn't perform as expected not from people who really love dogs and even breed them as pet. Pups are going to be alright is we people who needs training and obedience. Who the hell told me to ask a question. I wouldn't if I knew better.
Thanks for your time never wanted to hurt your feelings as breeders . I love my dog like she is.

I'm not a breeder; just an owner/trainer who believes in the integrity of the breed.

"Most of a dog you see in rescue comes from police cause they wouldn't perform as expected not from people who really love dogs and even breed them as pet."

This is absolutely untrue.
