Yes... Like Susie said... It doesnt really mater who made va 1 or 3.... Its a loss she's not involved anymore...

by Ibrahim on 12 September 2015 - 10:09

Pacco was comparatively good

by Ibrahim on 12 September 2015 - 10:09

It is a good idea to move away from VA dogs, show breeders should consider work studs with good structure and correct temperament to breed to

by Blitzen on 12 September 2015 - 13:09

Did anyone else think that the rears on most of the dogs we've seen so far are not very stable or is it me? Cowhocks and loose hocks?

That's a great idea, Ibrahim!!

by Blitzen on 12 September 2015 - 13:09

I don't normally comment on the quality of bitework beause I don't really understand what is good and what is bad other than the obvious refusal to bite, coming off the sleeve etc. I read some of he posts here written by the working dog faction and they don't agree with one another about their dogs either. What one calls a civil dog another will call nervy and so on.

I learned a long time ago that judges have a different take on bitework when I watched my first NASS and saw dogs that didn't out and that were dirty on the sleeve get the same or better scores than some dogs that did.  When it comes down to selecting a stud dog, maybe there is too much emphasis placed on the judging result than the dogs themselves.

The only other comment I have is that really tight jeans must hurt? Teeth Smile

by Ibrahim on 12 September 2015 - 14:09

I like the jeansTeeth Smile

I agree on the rears, not so good, and I mean the dogs rears

by Blitzen on 12 September 2015 - 14:09

I thought you'd say that, Ibrahim, about the jeans and the dogs.

Great performance by V2 Marlo Baccara. Like!

by khalid Azeem on 12 September 2015 - 18:09

Marlo very good... Dogs with this kind of working ability atleast should have been placed va... I agree with zeph... Judges just give too much weightage on confirmation and ignore temperament ,drive and willingness to work..
