JonRob I think if you read that back catalogue you'll see quite a few posts directed at trying to get the guy to reduce his prejudices / behave himself politely around the social groups he seems to dispise, so it isn't that things don't get worked on.

Thank you BE for outing him as the BANNED Shawnicus. I have now banned Workingk9s1 and all the Ads posted from this name.

I post this just so JonRob does not think I deleted the Ad because of his complaint that it crosses the line, just that it is from a banned member.

 

Well done ! Seriously, WR, can you and D'Arcy please put it to Oli that he could consider the issues raised about responsibilities to refuse ads that contain discriminatory language of any kind ? There is no reason an advertiser cannot suggest people who are permanently or temporarily handicapped in any way would not be a good fit for a dog, and they ought to be given the option to re-phrase to that end. Saying that all women applying should submit themselves to the advertiser's scrutiny is downright creepy, too. Thanks.

I agree he could have reworded the AD and I may have done it for him or sent PM that he should. I do reword or ask for it to be done by the poster.

I can say that with area power outage here and high winds blowing the fire all around and taking up my time to help friends and strangers and their animals to safety his wording on the Ad was just to minor to think about IF I had any internet connection to do anything about it.

One would have thought the Ad owner whould have done it but when you find out who the owner of the dog really is one can see why he did not do it.

Why does he not sell it to Mithuna his buddy or is this the dog that Mithuna took care of and decided that it was more dog than he could handle.

 

And just think, if Shawnicus hadn't posted such a bigoted ad he wouldn't have been outed and would still be slithering around here using PDB as his marketplace.
