Hired Dog

Simple Valk, a dog that can escape the yard, kennel, whatever, and is capable of killing someone, it does...why train it to escape, why encourage perhaps this kind of behavior?
We as humans will never be able to tell what our animals are thinking for sure, what their mental states are, we are guessing and hoping. I like to err on the side of caution when I can.
I feel bad for that old woman that died in the mouth of that dog and her relative that was injured...I never want to be a part of that.

that argument still hold no ground. mentally unstable dog can do bad deed irregardless of physical capacity or training.
such dog shouldn't be in existence in first place and if happened, must be destroyed.
we as humans, bear responsibility for what we create.

Valk, I am sure the dog will be destroyed, but, a little too late now. The owner of such dog will face criminal charges, possible prison time, lawyer fees, loss of income, perhaps a house and job, all because of a dog they failed to contain.
I am not even talking of the civil litigation that I am sure will start any day and will involve untold amounts of money and for what...
I dont know the dog, I have no idea if its mentally unstable or territorial or just aggressive or what its problem is, but, when you own a dog that has the physical and mental capabilities to injure another human, you make sure that dog never does that, unless you explicitly tell it to and that its always contained properly.
