So I see pics of them and they are really nice. I think if I had one it would help me out a lot with my big boy. I just can't figure out where to get them. I would even build my own if I could... Any advice???

Hey Angela, T.L puts out a good Slat, but since he is involved in the Arizona trouble, I don't know if he is still making them. You can try and contact him and see.http://www.angelfire.com/az3/winmill/
The folks below may still be in business. Let me find out who is still in business, and I will post more.

This kid is known to make a nice mill. He took his handle from the late Robert Lemm(The MILLMAKER). Of course you have to ship from The Philippines.

A couple of slat miIls that I would suggest: red river curley, the millmakers, and Gamblers. they are all free rolling, and well made. I would not suggest making you own, unless you know someone extremely talented with metal and wood, and have proven plans. Check out some of the game dog boards, and try buying a used one. A good one last forever, so a used one will work fine. Mine, is over 10 years old, 2nd hand, and still works great.
The grand mill is a carpet mill, and totally different than a slat mill. Carpet mills are nice, but some dogs wont run them, plus they are hard for the dog to turn, and do not add as much wind as a slat. I do know someone with a large Gambler mill for sale, but with shipping charges it may not be practical for you.
