Hi, everyone...are there registered malinois in KNPV?....with pedigree?...or they are all mixed. Comparing the KNPV to NVBK lines, which is more courageous with natural instinct to guard and defend? thanks.

All Mals are very naturally protective. I have a SL with a little WL in there. He's very protective at 12 months. This is only my personal opinion of Mals and I'm sure you will get different ones.

I am not sure....just thinking that if knpv selects for character like hardness and courage in their breeding pair, they will produce more serious dogs as generations goes considering that these are additive traits.

there are FCI papered malinois in KNPV, , if you want couragious and defensive malinois, Ive had some great KNPV dropouts with those qualities

thanks duke...I am just learning,and not ready yet with a hard and dominanr dog. Just curious, why are some dogs were drop out of the KNPV program? Are they too dominant, difficult to train, or some nerve issues?
