What is the pedigree? Can you post some more side photos?

Hi and welcome: I haven't posted in a while and this forum is notoriously difficult to post pics and comment on so sorry if this is done incorrectly.  I have an eight month old that is also my first mal so we are in somewhat comparable situations.  I have had my girl for a little over two months now and she is awesome.  You asked for comments--I am curious as to what type of comments you are wanting?  Best way to train?  Input on his looks?  I posted two pics of mine.  She is heavier than yours--About a month older but over 55 pounds.  She has little interest in fetch or Frisbee (unless there is a great treat) but loves tug.  I have her in a basic class and suggest you get yours on some type of training asap if you have not already.  I've no clue as to her line.  I wish I did but the lady I got her from was sick in a wheelchair and said she had no clue.  A little suspect I know but what to do. . She said she could not handle her There are people on this forum who know ALL about lines so if you know yours they can probably help.  Good luck, have fun and keep us posted.  We can compare notes and insights! ps  I am still trying to figure out best age to spay and earliest I can run with her.  You will find LOTS of differing opinions on this.  Anyone?

Tried to post this one in my last comment but of course it wouldn't let me.  So, here is the second one.....

Regarding the spaying:
I used to be a firm believer of spaying at 6 months.  I have read a few articles over the last year that changed my mind; to wait until at least 18 months - 2 years.   There are recent studies that say waiting to spay/neuter helps prevent some forms of cancer.

Here is the article someone sent me from this forum.  Pretty technical, but it was enough to convince me to wait.  I am also set up to handle a female in heat well, so that made it easier to hold off.

That sucks your dog was mutilated, especially at such an early age. I would never buy from someone who does that. Your dog is going to be tall and lanky. Already seems a little tall for the age. Watch the hips with that. 8 weeks is wayyyyyyy to early.
