thank you,Teeth Smile

I sold him to a very nice person that has him in IPO training.

I was recently ridiculed for longer hair mali's in my litter, the comment was they are considered a plague in mals!!!!Angry Smile

You know (and by the way, is that a dappled grey on your avatar?) I've been considering a Mal
pup for IPO/Top Sport.  The parents look very sharp. They don't look long-hair(ish).  I know
there's 4 distinct breeds.  Tervuren is the long-hair breed.  Interestingly enough,  You can
register them according to coat length.  Are you a working breeder?

Only in America are the belgian shepherds 4 different breeds, in their home country they are one breed with 4 different coat types.
I actually saw all 4 coat types at the Eukanuba this past weekend. My first time ever seeing a Lakeni in person.
Mals produce Tervs, Tervs produce Gerndols, Grendols produce black mals. Heck i don't even know what pops out of the curly coated litters yet. Haven't seen any puppies so far.
I've seen lots of slightly fluffy mals and poorly coated tervs. And i'm seen some black mals.
In the states they are just long coated mals. You can not register by coat. But i don't knew what other countries do with them.
I think Mals are great sport dogs, but the long coats don't seem to have the same working interest. Not sure why.
Beautiful puppy.
Best of luck with your litter.

thank you Regular Smile

They are from working European lines mostly.
So far I am getting awesome reviews on their working ability, so I am very happy with that.

I breed the best lines I can get, I just did it to bring great European lines into the US like many other Mali breeders that I see are doing the same.

I have a small horse farm so they are raised with many different loud noises and socialized very well up until they leave.
