BTW, that quote came off another forum, a conversation with a guy talking about being able to pick "hard dogs" for LE by their sch titles. And he said the score books would show him if the dog is titled on home field or not...Matt took my comment out of context.
Matt, you still haven't shown us where the information is included in the title.

I have a really innocent question and I am truly interested in the answer AND NOT TO START DRAMA.

Joan, what was the reason you kept that entire litter for so long and had them all xrayed before "placing" ? I am really curious as to why someone would do that. I have kept 1-3 from a litter until 6-7 months, than sold what I did not think would fit in with what I was expecting. Never had to keep past 6 months thougth.  I am asking this question and I HONESTLY have no idea what the pedigree is. Would you mind sharing that pedigree also.? Thanks.

you twist and spin to avoid the facts.  you went off topic on the other forum and your doing it here as well.  it's how you deflect when you have nothing salient to say.

Hutchins, I appreciate your question. I've talked about it on here a few times, I think. Anyway, it was 3-2 line breeding that I did, and to dispell accusations that it would produce a bunch of bad hips by a person who is influential but much taken to invention same way bz, I mean Matt is. There were only six in the litter, I have lots of room here and am home all day every day, so I raised the entire litter. Got to see the consistency and strengths and weaknesses in temperament of the entire liter. The dog Matt is desparaging was my pick to be my personal dog since their eyes opened. The pedigree can be found by looking at Otis v Ron. BTW, all came back with OFA good hips, one had one grade one elbow the other elbow normal, he was never lame a day in his life, the rest have ofa normal elbows. Only one was overtly social, the rest, as I predicted, were aloof and neutral with strangers. The one with grade one elbow was oversized and I neutered him before placing him at two and a half, he was also the overtly social one.

Bzcz, he IS in the right hands.:-) Shoot, I could tell when that pup was eight weeks old he was not sch material. See, if I had worked him like I did his litter mates when they were pups, he didn't care who it was he was going after.. As a senior pup, and even now, him in a pen for exercise, and he wanted to eat me up when I went in to bring him down to the house....not playing. Tie him to the gator when I take him with me to feed livestock, and he will fire up on me, serious. I give him a strong sit and I can walk in to turn him loose. Some dogs are not cut for sport, he is one of them.

Another one of Joanro's posts about the dog who's never in a kennel( its a pen for exercise....) Tie him to the gator....

Draw your own conclusions, there can be no meaningful discourse when the story keeps changing.

no sure how long joan has been breeding but i think every new breeder should keep every dog until 2yo and have completed every health, temp and work test known, rinse repeat until they have established their own line.

the least they should do.

by joanro on 20 October 2014 - 23:10

Yep, that's what I said. That describes him. So what's your point? And that was an answer to your comment that you'd like to see him doing sch if he was in the right hands. So a dog in an exercise yard is equal to a kennel to you? Tell you what, Matt, why don't you come here to my house and have a look for yourself. There've been others here that post on here, you are welcome to come here and look for yourself. You seem pretty much overly concerned with my dog, come have a look.
Show us where I've changed the "story". BTW, Matt, what are you bitching about my dog for anyway...he's my dog, I chose to keep from the time his eyes opened, you don't like it cause you think some one should have gotten him for ipo when you saw the video. Let me give you some advice, worry about your own dogs and unless you come here to see for yourself, stfu about my dogs....they're in excellent hands.

This is the dog that Matt has derailed this thread over.

Dont have a doggy in this fight.

However...I did try to part Joan from that dog and she wouldnt have it.  I had an encounter with him and he wasnt a loose cannon.  I would buy him as a PPD for sure, not the type of dog for just anyone. I think he is the type of dog you dont see much anymore.  Lots of suspicion and aggression without being a shitter. If he had been developed as a pup I think the results would have been notable.

I like him as a stud to certain females too because of his genetics and his phenotype..  jmo
