Obama: I Will Ensure Energy Prices Will Skyrocket?  Now THAT is change alright!!!!!

http://www.eyeblast.tv/public/video.aspx?v=e46U2Gnzpr

Drink the kool aid Liberals.........And what about his gloating about driving businesses to bankruptcy? Has there ever been a presidential candidate who looked forward to the prospect of destroying someone's life's work and costing thousands of people their jobs?

You are very welcome, RPK.  I find it extremely telling  that all those vets are supporting Obama. I'm not too shocked that a segment of the population who are all for continuing this abomination of a war would vote for a hawk, rather than someone committed to ending it.   I do see that the women in your poll are also inclined to vote for Obama.  I'm kind of afraid to ask you why you think that is.  For myself, I rely on polls that are inclusive of our entire population, like all these polls:  http://www.realclearpolitics.com/polls/  Why do you suppose Obama is so far ahead of McCain in every single poll that represents the majority of people in this country?   By the way, if things go as it sure looks like they will,  we will be having one hell of a party accross this country Tuesday night, hope you will join us.

Gee Sue,

You did post a poll from one segment  http://vetsforobama.org/ .........You must of forgot......Did you rely on the polls in 2000 and 2004 ?.....Why........ I bet you did!!! Just to keep you in the loop......People from all different walks of life are in the Military. They just might be a little more informed.

 Blitzen;

it is not the fact that as you insist ,Oprah's contribution to Obama's career is limited to "campaigning" for Obama, it is that her vision succeeded. How many people can say they envisioned this person to be the president of the US of A and then in less than what? ... maybe five years --can't really be sure to tell the truth, but  I'm feeling generous, ... see the deed done. You think it is not connected. I say, how else is Obama fundamentally changing the way America works? The major influence players could just be ready for a change of hands.

Again, no discussion on influence. And from such a non-voter, to boot.

Now Sue,

What "little" poll did I post the women support Obama?....In my poll from the Military women support McCain 53% to Obama 36%.........Try again

We will be having one hell of a party Tuesday if things go as we hope, and by we, I mean people from all different walks of life.

Ahh, yes! The contrast was so apparent during the conventions.

As the cameras scanned the delegates, the Democratic Convention was a mosaic of America. The Republican Convention could have been mistaken as almost excluding anyone who was not white. From time to time the cameras would almost try and locate the member of a minority group to bring the individual to the tv screen.

Hispanics who are the fastest growing racial group in the US is now breaking decisively for Democrats according to polls. The African-Americans already do so. Therein lies the problem for the Republicans in the future irrespective of what happens this election.

Keepthefaith,

I haven't been following this thread, and a didn't read all of the responses to your claims of Bob's revisionism.  But here are the facts.  Bush began calling for more oversight on Freddie and Fannie back in 2001.  If you want to fault him, you can say that he did not use his "political capital" after the 2004 election to push hard enough.  Do a little looking and see who was most vocal in their assertions that there were no problems.

I know this is hard for you to swallow, but the fact of the matter is the overwhelming majority of people are voting for a person of color for no reason other than he is the best man for the job.  The women in the polls had a higher number voting for Obama that did the polls broken down only by branch of service.  I did NOT post a poll of Veterans, merely one vet organization that is supporting Obama.

Gee Sue,

Why does a person of color make a difference? His race has zero influence on my decision to vote for McCain.......Can you say the same for the Black Population?  I believe in equality of  opportunities.........apparently you believe in equality of outcomes.
