I have two dogs- Xarax Vom fiemereck who is a Hill and Dux Valcuvia's dtr son. And Amigo der Rote Krieger a Manto Di Casa Mary son. There is a reason for this. I have the best of two worlds. Hill is not a pushover and gives you "do not mess with me" Type. Ursus is sheer magnifiscence in anatomy. color and head- all very important in a show dog. See both on this database. See their progeny and wait a while you will see what happens when I mix these bloods.

for me Hill is a great dog closer to what Mr.Max Stephanitz wanted. He produces great temperament, working and courage.

I had a Timo Berekasten son - Vendor Vom Haus Dexel -sometime back and his blood runs in my Kennel too very strongly. Timo progeny always impressed me with their intelligence.

For me all three lines are very important. I have recently introduced the Quenn and Baru Haus Yu lines through Xyanti Vom Haus Dexel. I brought in Pakros for Bax in good measure through Mirca Vom Haus Dexel and I am looking for a good Orbit Tronje type.

I then want to mix these lines and see what happens.

Interesting.

Cheers.

I whelped a litter out of a VA Hill gr.son, VA Ork vd Werther muhle.  he was bred to a linebred Ursus female,  pups had fantastic drives and temperment,  and beautiful structure.  Ork's owner Shaq still has a female from this litter named Godiva.  this litter was repeated,  and mother to the litters sister was also bred to Ork with the same results.

check out www.rikahhaus.com for pics of Godiva, and I'm sure Shaq would share pics of the other litters as well.

If I'm not mistaken Uber Land, my good friend owns Godiva now? That's what I was made to understand, that the dog is in Germany being titled? As I recall, her dam is an ET Sendling daughter, a dog that displayed very strong bitework at the NAS several years back.

Thank you mathaus for bumping this old thread. I never got quite the information I was looking for. I know the virutes of Ursus and Hill, I was more curious how the combination, particularly with Hill on the fatherline, compliments one another, and I especially was interested in what line specifically would be ideal to breed a Hill/Ursus bitch to.

possibly, I know she's scheduled for a fall 2010 litter.  I knew she was still on Shaq's site,  didn't know if he sold her or not.

mom was Enschi, an ET daughter, so probably the same girl.

I would reccommend taking the Ursus bitch to the Karly/Jello line. I have an Ursus son and a Jello son/.People who have sucessfully combined the lines are pleased with results.

I love Karly. I knew a fabulous 3-3 Karly linebred working police K9 I had hopes of using after his retirement, but he tragically died young from cancer, I think in his mouth. I had a firecracker Jello grandson once, too.

Are there any studs in the US from this line?

Good thread.  I waited to see the outcome but never saw anything more. I have a Hill-Ursus male who got the masculine head, rich color and good bite. I know males are a dime a dozen, but let us know what you decide and what you get, KCzaja.

My Jello son is 121/2 years old and is actively siring litters. He is in great health and has balanced drives. He is  HD "a"normal,, OFA hips ("good") and elbows (normal), and is DM negative.

12 and 1/2 and still potent? He must be in great shape. I thought potency declined with age.

This may be a subject fraught with peril on this particular board. Just thought of that.
