My name is Juliana -- married, US Navy Sailor, dog lover, and ridiculously over-educated *lol*
I grew up around all manner of animals, and I've been working with dogs for as long as I can remember. My mentor, Orpha, was an AKC breeder/owner/Judge who specialized in Rough and Smooth coated collies. There are pictures of me when I was a toddler, clinging to the collies while I learned to walk. She taught me the fundamentals of breeding, raising, grooming, and working with dogs. Yes, I still know how to groom a rough-coat collie ^_^
When I was 15 I started doing dog-sitting and obedience work to earn extra money while I was away at school. I trained my rottie x chow to be a "Rover Reading Partner," and we would go to the local schools to help children who were struggling with reading. After college I started doing research under Orpha's supervision into different lines of working Rottweilers; a breed I was considering specializing in. I wanted to get into Schutzhund and personal protection.
I wound up in the German Shepherd world instead.
I've been working with GSDs for quite some time now. I'm working on learning everything I can about the breed, and becoming a specialist. I have east and west german GSDs. I also have a fiesty Jack Russell terrier who doesn't know she isn't a Shepherd, and an 8ft Boa Constrictor who would love to eat the Jack Russell.

Hi Shepherd Woman, I'm so full I dont think I can sit up in the chair for long.
Every year the same thing, ya think I'd wise up huh?
This seems like a good idea, I also enjoyed the lighten up thing with all the jokes and picture's.
I noticed not everyone gave they're names.
I'm Brent, 54, married with children. I've traveled some but spent most of my life in southern Indiana.
I love animals, nature, and spend alot of time outdoors. Theres nothing like a clear sky, a warm fire, and the sound of an owl calling to its mate in the quiet distance. I hunt, boat and ski, ride horse's when I can, and love hotrod cars. I spend alot of time with my dogs, Maddy, Max, and Midnight.
I'm a builder/carpenter. I do most anything along construction lines. I've also been a firearms dealer/gunsmith, I love those slash marks. I've raised just about every animal I ever liked. I was the kid who came in from the woods with something crawling around in his pocket. I've had German Shepherds since I was 10. I've only lately been interested in breeding them. I do my own training and am learning more about it now.
Right now I have two solid black garden variety shepherds, nothing to brag about. A male and female. And Maddy, a black and tan bitch that I think is really special. I plan to breed her next spring to a local SAR dog.
Everyone excuse me because sometimes I may yank on someones chain out of boredom, and sometimes I'm sorta moody and way to full of myself... Its been said I would argue with a sign post if you've ever heard that expression...lol
I'm new to this and hope to make a few friends, and try to learn more about breeding and training my dogs.
Anything else ya wanna know just ask.
