You know damn well if I lock it or delete it, then we have to hear people saying the opposite. Why is admin deleting threads and/or locking them. Blah, blah blah. You have often advised mods to deal with the person and not make all suffer. No?

Only 2 people seem to have a problem with each other at this point, which is an ongoing cluster and those 2 know who they are. I would hate to take action against either long term member, but one in particular seems to be begging for it.

If the breeder wants it deleted I would consider it, but I think the thread has merits and if 2 people could take their jounior high romance to email's or pm's, I think the thread might get back on topic.

I agree, 100%, it's on the consumer, but I still gotta call it like I see it, and I see a lot of so called "breeders" happy to tell people how great that litter they have on the ground is, when the fact is they haven't a clue.  As a matter of fact those who are full of shit and advertise their dogs as something they aren't usually are banking on newbie purchasers who haven't really researched what they are getting into and don't know any better.  Impulse buyers, those who don't take the time to do their homework, kind of get what they deserve,  I guess.

We can call it like it is without posting links to the breeders website and saying things that we have no direct knowledge about. Things happen and unless you have direct first hand knowledge of why they happened isn't it best to have that knowledge before you potentially ruin another persons reputation.

I think when it is kept as a discussion and not a finger pointing bash fest it has a much better chance of reaching an intended audience and encouraging others to get involved by commenting and participating.

To that end, GSD,  I believe many of us were speaking in general terms, and not trying to talk about or bash the breeder the OP actually started this thread about, or any breeder by name.......well, some of us were speaking in generalities, anyways.

   

Interesting Bob, out this thread, you somehow accuse the moderators of favoritism?  Care to back that statement up or is this just throw shit up on the board to see what sticks day?  We moderators have complied with your and every other critics request to remain in the background as much as possible.  Oh well, can't win them all.
