Leaving this thread open gave Jean a chance to tell her side of the story, and clear herself of all blame( for lack of a better word).  If it had been closed she would not have had that chance.  Now, I think it is a discussion of breeding dogs without hip cert. etc, not so much about Jean.  
There is no reason to close it IMHO (which isn't worth much), but I agree with the Mod's in this case.

 I approve of moderation I feel it has improved the site but it MUST stay consistent

And I agree with you, Red Sable.  In fact, if anyone bothers to read the original post they will see the link has been removed as has any mention of the breeder by the OP. I also think a lot of people let the OP know he/she was on the wrong track with this particular breeder, and the breeder was allowed to clear their own name as well.

I think the mod did just fine here.

I did put an end to it. The 2 people who were taking shots at each other have stopped and the thread is trying to get back on track, but someone wants to keep side tracking it to disagree and question mod decisions, which is a direct violation of the TOS. Want to discuss mod decisions, take it to pm's.

Yes, Red Sable the breeder has contacted me and asked that we try and get it back on topic, because she also believes in certs and titling.

NOW' what i want to know is was there anything more put on this thread before the post i have outlined above, and if there was it must have been deleted because i am replying to the post i have put on here, So how can i be wrong in saying what i have and this is put to Jenni58, seeing she is the only one replying to my posting

Steve, the thread was turned into a thread about a breeder,  unfairly. The link was to her site, to a pairing that I knew was an accident which occurred off her property. 

Like I said, I wasn't being sarcastic. I said it was a good thing to observe the protocol you outlined, but when you replied in that sense to a thread w/a link to her site in the first post, it could make it seem like you were calling anyone who has a situation like that a BYB. 

Some backyard breeders are the best kind, and some "respectable" breeders are the worst.

I do not know nothing about mod gsd edit: removed name as names are not allowed by the TOS without direct knowledge of said breeder. or have i read anything about the Lady, as i said i was replying only to the first post outlined on this thread, I could not make out what i had done or said wrongly in my post 
If a post is put on a thread by someone THEN it should be left intact, It is wrong for the Mods to remove posts, those of us who live in a different time in hours meaning i can be asleep and a thread comes on some 10 pages and some possibly some parts deleted prior to me ever reading them from the beginning.
How is the likes of myself or anyone else supposed to know the start. We or i then post and get called over the coals for no reason because the whole thread has been changed prior to me or others ever seeing them in there entirety.
So Mods Delete the lot or leave well alone, because otherwise you are being unfair to some people who read after so much has been deleted
Now it is passed Midnight over here and i am going to bed, Any reply to my post i will read tomorrow

The only thing deleted was a link to a website. Which was in the first post. A link which unfairly portrays a breeder who follows the belief of titling and health certs.

We can't worry about time zones when a persons reputation is being unfairly tarnished.
