vk you said on open forum that there was an org that takes complaints, issues dicliplines, monitors quality, has all relevant gentic information on it's own database, funds research into breed diseases, funds research into improving working traits and back all guarantees re sales of puppies by it's members for health and working ability and   we could join that truly amazing club.  Everyone  here would be interested in such a club,  but would also be interested in how they obtain their goals.

read my previous post, you only stand to either learn something about one  org's efforts to maintain standards for  the best interest of their breed the best they they can and know how to or  you will expose me as a liar, seems you can't lose either way.

by vk4gsd on 16 January 2015 - 00:01

sv, you can only wish.

let me help you by-law 3, covers the working ability re all puppies sold by members;

nit pick away folks then show me what your org does better.

3 GUARANTEE:

3.1 Unless stated in writing to the contrary Breeders listed on the WKC Breeders' Directory are obliged to

subject to the following conditions:

3.1.1 The dog or pup is returned in good order and condition at the buyers expense OR other

mutually agreed to conditions are fulfilled.

3.1.2 In the case of demise, or necessary euthanasia by a qualified person, that the cause of the loss

can be associated with exposure to or the existence of a condition prior to the time of dispatch.

In this circumstance the breeder reserves the right to request the claim be accompanied by a

certificate signed by a registered Veterinarian or other suitably qualified person.

3.1.3 It can be established that whilst under 'guarantee' the pup/dog had been properly housed,

handled, fed and routinely treated for internal and external parasites and protected by routine

vaccination against commonly associated diseases such as Canine Distemper.

3.1.4 It can be established that the pup/dog was given adequate exercise, training and opportunity to

develop its inherited working instinct or in the case of started or broken in dogs they were given

re read what is in those by laws.  First it says unless stated in writing otherwise.  Then it says the breeder is obligated.  so all the breeder has to do is to state in writing there is not gurantee.  And the club never says they will back it they say that unless stated in writing the BREEDER  will

so all of that doesn't mean anything because all the person has to do is state in writing that they won't

These are very obvious loop holes for any contract that automatically makes everything null and void.  A person wouldn't even need a law degree to see that.

by vk4gsd on 16 January 2015 - 00:01

nice nit-pick, yeah and have it publicly listed as such, that was put in to cover situations eg an experimental outcross where the breeder legitimatley is uncertain of the outcome and leaved it as an option for the buyer to take the risk.  now go thaat biit further and look at how many cases that occurrs and why, seems you are being negative, lol.

so what org you got that at least matches or betters that.
