I'd be tempted to take the battery right OUT so someone doesn't hotwire the vehicle, and steal it!

by EchoMeadows on 07 July 2007 - 19:07

The biggest issue is he seems to be traveling in a big 10 mile circle...  He gets spotted in the NW area then the SW area,  then the SE area and then the NE area and a few times in the middle.  I never know where or when to be where... I can barely do the 14 mile round trip on the bike once much less several times in any kind of attempt to stumble across him.  The sightings are less and less,  I was paniced until about 6:30 yesterday I had not had a call on him all day.   I feel better knowing at least he came out once yesterday,  I left some scent articles down by the bridge along with the rest of the lamb meat,  I'm sure we'll be attracting all sorts of critters off the river with that,  But so long as one of them is Dago,  I am hoping he will find my shirt and stay with it at least long enough for me or Rylee to find him there.   The vehicle thing.... well we blew a rod through the oil pan in the older car,  My truck has been in the shop twice since this all started, and it's newer (2001),  And there are alot of Tweekers in that town especially on the levy,  which means if I left a rig down there no dog would get near it because they would be too busy stripping it down.

Am seriously considering taking one of my dogs with me and going down there and sleeping tonite and tomorrow night, in a last ditch effort,  Honestly I don't know what more or less I could do at this point.

www.gsrne.org/LostPets/searching_hints_and_behaviors.htm might give you some ideas.. There's links at the bottom of the pages that lead to more ideas.

Good luck!

Sorry folks; you're being taken for a ride. Read her posts analytically and you'll understand.

WC Fields said it best, "There's a sucker born every minute." You have to want to be a sucker in order to be one. It's served it's purpose; you've provided the attention she needs.

Take your best shots; I can handle it.

Spook posting something sympathetic in one of Echo's threads?

Nah, not gonna happen!

by spook101 on 08 July 2007 - 15:07

Go read her other posts and see how many of these tradgedies she is involved in. It gets old. She needs suckers like you to stroke her. If you analyze just this thread you can see that something is just not right, but maybe you need her as much as she needs you.

Echo has a litter of dogs comming in August. She has had 7 litters in the past 2 years. I have never, ever met a "rescue" person that purposly brings that many dogs into the world.

Every thread she starts elicits thousands of views and promotes what a wondeful caring person she is. Come on people lets see this for what it really is. Self promotion in it's sickest form. When she got called to the carpet she posted all these "helpful" positive posts for awile and then back to her old ways.

Hey Echo I was wondering what your post begging OLI to take down your thread about Dean Calderon's supposed quotes about one of your dogs was all about? CAre to enlighten all of us?

by spook101 on 08 July 2007 - 18:07

I MUST APOLOGIZE:

The quote I attributed to WC Fields was actually that of PT Barnum.

Gotta agree with GARD and Spook here.   There's a pattern.......   That's a lot of puppies, no wonder she doesn't have titled breeding stock and why there's no time to get them titled.

The "road" she was chasing "Wyatt" around, almost causing wrecks, is not a road, it's an interstate highway where commen speeds driven are over 75 to 80 MPH.  I've driven it often, when I'm driving at 70 plus I get passed like I'm standing still.    Willing to risk many other peoples lives.

Hey GARD, I missed that thread about Dean.  Which one was it?
