Hello , i've wrote hear for about 1,5 months , when my little puppy was 2 months old. She is now 3 months and 20 days, and the problem continues. She has the upperjaw longer than the lowerjaw. I think almost 1 cm.
She is a puppy from a very known german kennel, and i don't know what to do. When i ask them , i told that she was for the shows here in my country. I really trust the kennel, but this is very difficult to accept.
This is so sad, i've never had a female like this one, she moves so perfect, OMG  , and so nyce "body".

Here , the photos :

You cant correct that...send the pup back and exchange it for one that is proper...

You tell breeder its not right and you tell breeder that pup is not what u ask and if breeder wont honor pup  we need to add that to the other worries here....

and then buy a pup from someone local to you that you can examine......this is getting more and more common every day,,,,a new case of a pup bought sight unseen, breeders selection, and not a pup worth  2 cents....

diogo from what I know about past and present experience is, the bottom jaw does grow slower than the top jaw alot of the time. It can take until the pup is 8  months sometimes longer for the lower to catch up. In the pics her overbite does look a bit much so I would watch her lower canines as they may not want to fall out and can cause problems with the adult teeth growing wrong too. Give alot of bones for her to chew (raw knuckle bones or marrow bones) to help them loosen up. Right now her bottom canines appear to be hitting her gums. Don't panic. My 7 month female also showed an overbite, not quite as much as your pup, but she had trouble shedding her pup teeth and even though I know better, I was worried. At this time it has just about corrected itself her bite is almost perfect and I am sure it will be with a bit more time. I would contact the breeder and make them aware of the problem if she is guaranteed. Just so they have a heads up. I think there is a chance this can improve.

I would never sell or buy a pup with that major of a difference    Have never produced one with that kind of bite ...always perfectly together ...as they are suppose to be......

 Hi diogo.campos

I would not worry about his overbite yet,

Give the pup time to grow up. When the adult teeth come in they normally pull the bottom jaw forward. The bottom jaw also grows much slower then the top jaw. This may take up to several months. I have experienced this a few times over the past years.

Personally I would not worry until the dog was about 18 mos. of age.

Good luck ,

Pup

Hello guys

Thank you for the replys. The breeder is a very nice guy in this world. He is a very nice man.

I'm just ask myself how can this be possible, she is a son of a VA1 and the mother is a very known female too, she was from the first 20 females on the sieger.

Many people here, even the veterinary are telling me that this is not going to change. I don't know anymore. You always tell me that this is going to change , and you know that because you'r breeders (that's why i believe more in you).

Until that change, i can't show her. But if you'r telling me that she is going to be good health is very nice .

Thank you

Yellowrose

If you are, don’t blame the breeder,  this may not  have been a visible problem the day the pup was sold to the buyer. The bite can change over a short period of time.

Very slim to no chance that will ever improve to an acceptable level. it might even get worse. Watch for canines to cut into gums and can gt infected.
