Gosh Peter, why didn't any of us think of that?  You should write a book.

It's a medical fact that men lose weight much faster than do women. Don't always assume that all overweight women got that way only because they eat too much and exercise too little. There are other reasons that aren't so easy to correct.

Telling it how it is is a good thing if you first know what you're talking about. Otherwise, it's just plain BS and serves no useful purpose other than to belittle others.

Now see what you've done Peter?  I am so traumatized I just went and ate 25 twinkies, but it's OK, they are the new low fat ones!!!!

I prefer chocolate twinkies. How about you?

I don't care what flavor so long as I can blame someone like Peter for my eating it.  Guilt free Twinkees ummmmmmmmmm.

I wonder if most the men on here complaining about women being overweight, have overweight wives or girlfriends and tell them they are perfect like they are..no, you don't need to lose weight, no, you don't look fat in that....i wonder what these women would think if they read the things their husbands were calling other women, i think i would rather see my hubby hitting on another woman than to see him being cruel and calling someone fat.

i want it clear that i did not call anyone a name or make fun of any woman, in fact, I defended women in general. If any of you ladies took my remarks as insulting they were not meant that way, just having alittle humor.

As for my wife she is tall and naturally slim and has never had a weight problem, as she gets older she has to be more careful like everyone does.

DR- My childhood was one of almost contstant hunger because my mom wanted to get the weight off me. I am sure there have been times that you have tried to go to sleep with your stomach in knots and vomiting bile because of hunger. So think of what that does to a kid's body and mental state towards food. I still eat less than my friends, most days I completely forget lunch, which actually causes you to gain weight. Please don't tell me 'just eat less' as the mantra goes, I have done that all my life and it hasn't helped a bit.
