DR, you bring up some good points, and I think it is clear to most that `skiny` is NOT the same as `healthy`. My points are still as follows: 1 - If you are in shape you will compliment your dog`s athleticism. Together Everyone Achieves More. 2 - Expect as much out of yourself as you do of your dog. Happy training! Yvette

I am an American, and so were my grandparents, and yes, I even have some Native american blood too, Ottawa indian from the my great, great grandmother.  Since when did this this turn into me somehow being anti american????

Take home points I was making:

THIS generation of AMERICANS is less active than previous generations of AMERICANS ( I use Americans cause that is the group I am referring too, as it is a group I am a part of, and yes, even with my active lifestyle, I do not think I am as active as my grandparents were)

Skinny doesn't equal healthy, a little extra weight doesn't equal unhealthy, although there are certainly a large number of people living in this country (is that better?? I didn't use the word Americans) that have far surpassed the "a little extra" catagory and are grossly overweight and will live a lower quality of life and shorter because of it.

movement stimulates brain activity, it stimulates your immune system, it stimulates everything in your body to operate more efficiently

and this has nothing to do with media regurgitation, take a look around you.  Take a look at family pics from 50 years ago and ones from today. I can't make you see something that is so obvious, if you don't want to. But then that really isn't my problem.

It is your problem you think Americans are mostly fat, lazy and what eva else you see obvious. I'd like you to come to my neck of the woods and spew that jibberish to our fat, lazy native faces. Actually, your part of your obvious conclusions. Not I.

What is all the fighting about?  America is fat!  Every kid has his own Sony play station 3 or wii, that is played for hours every day.  They  sit on the internet like we are for hours a day.  I'm not that old, but when we were kids, we would get all the neighborhood kids together and play sports.  Even in the winter we would spend all day on a lake playing hockey.  We didn't sit around with a box of cheeze-its and play Super Mario Bros. for six hours, until we got to the level 10.  Kids used to walk to school or at least the bus stop.  Now, they get a ride to the bus stop and they sit in mommy or daddy's SUV until the bus gets there.

I was in a house where a woman told her kid he had enough of the Sony Play Station.  She told me how she limits his time because she doesn't want him to be lazy and sit around.  After telling the boy 4 times, he went to his room and sat on his bed and played with his Gameboy, portable gameset.

I must say this to you zdog or I won't be able to sleep tonight. Even a little bit of Native you say you have or let's just say American (because we both are) is a disgrace, look at all the people who died for you to say that about your own family and your conclusions you have today.

You just insulted this nation and native lands and all the people since the Europeans invaded and stole it, and it is by far all media regurgitation that brings you to your views. Fact.

This is the best thing about the internet. And there's a few million dressin' just like me. Thank God, I'm glad I met you and had this convo, because America will fight freedom for all, because those are the families who stole it,  we love to fight, we love survival of the fittest, it's the American way. We are not all like your conclusions.. that's where you came from. And neither are our famlies. You speak for yourself.

someone has taken this way too personally, but maybe its not I that should come to your neck of the woods, but maybe you should step out of your neck of the woods and take a look around the rest of the country.  and as long as you're going to play interent tough girl, why not issue challanges to the rest of the board, most seem to have also come to the conclusion that America is heavier than it's ever been, care to tell them their conclusions warrant a beat down by the natives??

I suppose you'll turn this into I hate Native Americans now too, which I'll try to head off by saying, #1 I have Native ancestors and #2have been to meetings between my grandfather with "tribal leaders" for various tribes in WI quite often in my youth.  I learned then, and still have today, a great respect for Native Americans because of that exposure.  And NO these weren't meetings to discuss the next gaming casino, they were about history and artifacts that my grandfather would search for and find almost every day of his retired life.

Sorry, I did 19 miles today, didn't you say the brain stimulates much more with physical activities? Please forgive me. Now I know in advance to stay off the internet on busy days. Thanks for the convo. Peace.
