Best guess - Louise's dog OFA good, better positioning might get him an excellent.

Fillyone's dog - preliminary OFA good at 14 months.

SV - beats me.

Oops, noticed that Fillyone's dog was 2 years on the xray, so OFA good.

I can't scan any more xrays with my flatbed scanner (with the lid open) tonight--not enough light in my office. Guess that there must have to be lots of ambient light in the room with the scanner.

Molly yes I trail ride. I haven't been out once this year. I was actually thinking about selling them but having a hard time with that. Right now lottsa fires, hot and smokey. Hubby is using my Dodge for a chase truck so can't hook up to the trailer... What kind of horses do you have? I have 2 mares. One retired Arab @ 23 years, the other PWHR sorrel Overo. I love those mountain lakes!

Back to this thread ! What other thread was there on the hip xrays? Was it on the DB?

I think the first x-ray would receive from Ofa prelim of    FAir    because the ball doesnt seem to be real firm and rounded into the socket as well as it could be,,,,,as the pup gets excercise and proper nutrition to 24 mos old  , and swimming,,,it may help..

#2 would probably be Borderline  or resubmit....for better xray....the ball does not appear to be firm into the socket. and is not well rounded and big enough ,  or maybe we would say   "shallow"

I really like this thread and hope others post more x-rays to compare. I find it interesting to see the slight changes in structure, size and positioning. Some balls are flatter some rounder. Even the pelvis/sockets vary greatly. I wish I had my dogs x-rays to post. At the time I didn't know I could request an extra disk burned for myself, at the same time they make one for OFA. I encourage others to do this in the future as well so you can always go back and reference like we are now.
