Greetings!!! I don't usually write on here, I just read. :-)) Every night. I'm Female, 55, breeder, trainer and show person for the past 37 years ( American or AKC ). Got tired of the politics and the "racy" looking dogs and am now just starting to try for breeding dogs that can think for themselves. Sorry folks but you have a died in the wool police Sergeant here. Robbery Detective to be exact. Done under cover gangs, narco, and prostitution. I gotta tell ya all, it hurts sometimes to read the negative comments directed about law enforcement. Anyway, I have 15 Grandchildren, 5 horses ( Arab and Quarter), 8 cows, 9 GSD. Yup...9. My biggest disappointment is bredding to a German Import and not being able to get the ears to stand on the pups. AAAaaarrgggg......I've been out of dogs for 10 years and am now coming back. I found this site by accident and have stayed. I most gratefully thank you all for re-awakening my competitive drive and teaching me all the latest new things that have been learned since I've been out of it.  Thanks Folks!!!!!

Hey, I'm Bradley. no longer 15, now 16. I like dogs but n ot really for sport. Just an obident pet who will kick but if needed. I have Sarah, the mix of czech lines with some west german and american lines, and Ally the rottie I got for some good test scores. I'm from the bahamas and plan to go to college in Canada in a while where I want to do some dog training. Surprisingly I do not plan to be a vet, I want to be a doctor. I have never seen even seen a schH routine, but I think I have done more research than some people who bought a dog off the net. I think this is a great site, and waste way too much time waiting for people to post on it. I should just take the dog to the beach.

BabyEagle4U:  Do you actually raise Eagles?  Ya know, the Bird?

BabyEagle4U, you said you raise American Eagles. Just what are American Eagles, and, if this is the bird you're referring to, what do you raise them for? Or is it the Eagle guns you're referring to?? (I know very little about guns, must confess!)

34 yrs old, finally happily married but it's not my first rodeo and good lord did I have to kiss a lot of toads to get to my prince.  Between hubby and I we have 5 children.  yes 5! lol  I had the 2 girls 10,7 and he had the 2 boys 12,5.  Then we really lost our minds and had one together who is 15 month old little princess.  Things can get crazy around here but I wouldn't have my life any other way.  Family is the most important thing in my life, everything else is secondary.

I got my first GSD a year ago, now I have 2 and if I have things my way I will eventually have 3. lol  It's a sickness.  Hubby grew up with shepherds all his life, his mother had a training facility, did a little schutzhund...I guess he understands the "sickness". lol

My office is at home and I'm self employed so it makes it nice to care for the kids, have time for the dogs and earn a comfortable living.  It's a family owned/operated business- has it's pros and cons. lol  Some days it makes for a very entertaining reality show. lol

I'm a democrat- love Hilary Clinton.  Don't lynch me for it; you know she's one tough bitch and I don't care if she is a lesbian or not. lol  She gets my vote.  I loved Bill and didn't give a rats ass what he did in the oval office.  George probably did it too just never got caught.

I'm fairly educated, well rounded and easy going.  I love to be around people, especially those with a sense of humor.  My family is Greek.  I speak the language fluently which makes it interesting talking to my dogs in czech. lol  If you've seen the movie my Big Fat Greek Wedding then you've probably been to my house- we don't roast the lamb in the FRONT yard; we do it in the BACK. lol

I love this site; learned a lot since the first day I discovered it.  I even like it when it gets crazy kinda because even then I get something out of it as a learning experience.  Thanks to those that offer their knowledge and open mind.

Hi, great thread! I think I had some people pegged wrong (not even close to guessing what age/gender some of you were:-)) I'm a 31 year old single never married female in california (could it be because I work WAY too much?:-)) I have loved and owned animals all my life. My dog career started with aggressive doberman (looking back now he was dog reactive and he would redirect onto me) when I was 9 years old. My mom said if we didn't train him we'd have to get rid of him and there was no way I would allow that to happen. That dog was the old style dobie that was my protector and childhood companion. I apprenticed under my trainer and trained lots of dogs, though never competed in anything until I was older. When I graduated high school I worked at Six Flags as an animal care specialist handling exotics and domestics for their animal show. A job I loved, but ddn't find it paid enough. I've worked lots of training jobs since then including studio animal trainer, and head trainer for one facility, and instructor for another, currently I own my own training business. I did some schooling with an emphasis on behavioral psychology, but I came home for 1 summer and was offered a great training job and never looked back. Maybe some day. I compete in schutzhund and have recently started a local SDA club and am working on titles for that as well. I have tried my hand at sheepherding, agility, conformation, and therapy work. Have owned lots of different animals (I currently own fancy rats, an african grey parrot, and several dogs (shepherds, a couple of mixed rescues, and a papillon (who actually would rule my roost if he could get away with it:-)). I've got 3 of my own shepherds at the moment (with a 4th one living here that belongs to my mother...that is the 5 month old pup). I trained my first shepherd to Sch3 IPO3 TR1 a few years ago, and currently have two of his sons (the 5 month old, and the 9 week old are out of him:-)) I also have Kaos (Xaran von Hildewarde and Anouki Huiz Joris son) who is just over 2 with a BH and CGC, working on maybe his 1 by the end of the year when I get around to tracking regularly...HARD to find good tracking in southern california!!!!!) and I'm looking to put a CD and SDA titles on him as well. My other boy Cyrano (real name is Ciro but Cyrano was the family dog when I was a child and this dog deserved the name) is a 1.5 year old Eick son imported from Eurosport. We are working mainly on schutzhund together.I co-own a female as well and will start a breeding program when titles and OFA are done. I handled a dog in between my first dog and my current boys but sold him when he proved to be too much dog when my 80+ year old grandmother moved into the home. I might have figured out working with him, but it was definitely a liability because grandma just doesn't understand why the "cute little doggie doesn't want to say hi" to her and kept opening the wrong crate, and then would try to correct dogs if they barked or growled at her. Other interests include Taekwondo (it's my only real "non dog" time. When the dogs become work and play and sleep, you really do need some non dog down time ya know?) I also love to read when there's time and play the piano as well as sing (though I'm more a choir voice then anything:-)) I also love training animals other then dogs. I enjoy the threads on this board. I recently grew more interested (I used to just check in ocassionally) especially since I've found it getting harder and harder to sleep at night:-) I just bought a laptop a couple of months ago and that has made the online world more accessible (much more comfortable to hang in bed and type then to sit at the desk:-)) Nice to "meet" you:-)

25, Victoria's Secret model for Nordstrums in NYC,  Miss Nude Pennsylvania 2005 and runner up for the national title the same year, pictured on page 36 of the 2006 "Sports Illustrated" swimsuit issue. Currently living with Blitz in Manhatten at the Dakota in the apartment once occupied by the late, great John Lennon and the still-around-and- not-so-great Yoko.

Have to run, the Donald and I are taking the Leer to London today. Ever try to find a good kidney pie in NYC?
