That was cool.  Some of those dogs could put dock dogs to shame on the long jumps.

by LMH on 16 October 2007 - 16:10

My thoughts exactly, animules............but I'll also add another one.  Where are the docks?????????????????

BTW, Abhay. Read the threads, and was wondering....Is Ravenwalker your wife? (LOL)

by Abhay on 16 October 2007 - 16:10

LMH, My wife's hair is black as a Raven's, but her handle is not Ravenwalker. I just asked my wife and she told me, she has posted recently.  Ravenwalker is a sharp handle. It would fit my wife perfectly.

Trying to control myself but I can't stop laughing.  Ya'll are so gullible that it is absolutely hilarious.

1.  I do agree with the point that I need to take a "chill pill".

2.  I don't agree with the point that there is something strange about a man in his fifties doing rap.  We are going to have a whole generation of 50's guys and gals doing rap, shortly.  Just like there are many that did and do polka.

3.  I do not agree that I am "harmless", and yes, I do understand the different ways that comment could be taken.

4.  I find it extremely interesting that an anonymous person with a history of admitted lying, can post some pics of supposedly himself with big muscles, and the women here will all go ga-ga.  No,I am not jealous of his mucles (alledged muscles), but I am frustrated that the world is full of gullible sheep, who will fall for anything.  No wonder Hillary is going to be our next president.

5.  I am going to sit back and watch the show.  You know, the one where over the next month or so, Abhay proves the "poster boy for ignorance" phrase he so loves, except you will be the poster boys and he will be laughing his assman off.

6.  No wonder so many of you have failed marriages in your pasts.  You will fall for anything apparently.  Swallow the bait, hook, line and sinker.

See, I told you I am not harmless.

I am going to try role reversal and see how it goes.  Oh, and I will be posting some photo's of my muscles too.  Try to control yourselves when I do.  I am available for "shiboomi", if you even know what that means.  It is an "art" I learned in the orient.  Just a part of it, for a little "taste":  12 swirls clockwise, 12 swirls counter clockwise, then one in the middle.  Repeat 14 times, then go to step #4 (I left out #'s 1 and 2, don't want to give out my methods to just anyone).

DRFNO, I haven't been thrilled with you since you told me I was no better then pitbull fighters when you first showed up here.  But your comment above really reinforces my opinion.

"6.  No wonder so many of you have failed marriages in your pasts.  You will fall for anything apparently.  Swallow the bait, hook, line and sinker."

That reaches a new low.

That was a quick response.  Just enough time to boil my *distilled* water and make a cup of tea.(LOL)  You know, I was being somewhat facetious, but remembered one of her posts and a martial arts reference....and then your black hair clue----what can I say....had to ask. (LOL)

Seriously, though......As long as we're talking, may I pick your brain for a moment? On one of the threads I read a while back, you recommended feeding a dog (I believe) within 15 to 30 minutes following intense exercise.  You suggested this will maximize nutritional benefits.  Admittedly......was intrigued........but also wondered about bloat and torsion.  With the physical exertion, plus the extreme summer heat, I've always been afraid to give a dog more than 1/2 a cup of water until he is breating normally and not panting.  Even with airconditioning, the recoup period could be somewhat longer.  I wondered......Do you, yourself, actually feed in that allotted time.......and, if yes......have you had any regrets........meaning---dog in distress? (Last year, we came home from a run, and one of mine drank more water than I usually give.  He started hunching up...head down----you know the look.  I was terrified.  He wasn't heaving....and he couldn't seem to move...was stiff.  I swung my leg over his back, straddling him.....both of us facing forward.  Then proceeded to cup my hands beneath, and with one quick and hard pounce into his gut that lifted his rear, he threw up. Thank God.  Water.....or rather....thick, foamy mucous was all over the floor.  All those air bubbles.  Needless to say, I was very lucky that day. Was furious with myself,,,,,,usually being so careful.)  Anyway....that's why I'm asking.  I do understand there might be a benefit utilizing the info you presented....but am concerned if safely executing this info is even a possibility.

by LMH on 16 October 2007 - 17:10

Oh...I see we're back to the topic title.........Shucks!  I really wanted an answer.  Should have started a new thread.  Did I really just type shucks?  Never ever said that word before....not even once. (LOL)

animules:  could care less if you are "thrilled" with me or not.

To everyone else reading this thread:

My post above is not the real me, but it is obvious that being "the real me" is not needed or necessary on the internet, according to some here.

I tried my best in the above post to capture the essence of Abhay's postings over the past several months and I think that I did a darn good job at it.  Funny how dog fighting, calling the females here bitches and ho's and calling the males here faggots and sissies, is not thought of as lowly as my statement about failed marriages.

I did not do the above posting lightly.  I did considerable thought about it and did the posting as sort of a swan song.  I am dissapointed with many of you for choosing an admitted liar and a dog fighter, former criminal (among other nasties) over a former Marine, Sailor and police officer (although some of you have made it clear that you think that cops are scum).  I no longer feel welcome on this site and will refrain from posting here anymore, but I am sure that I will be strongly tempted as some shots will be taken at me by several, either in an attempt to bait me into posting or just out of anger towards me for my above posting.

Some of you saw through the phony swagger and lies of Abhay, and some of you were blinded by his muscles and sweet talk, but most of you, I assume, were strattling the fence, not experienced enough in life to know a falsehood when you hear it.  Those of us with more rounded life experiences know BS when we hear it.  Some do not, and it shows in the many postings about falling for the normal scams of puppy buyers and sellers, and the many failed transactions discussed here.  Some people learn the hard way and some just never learn.

A few liked and regular posters have left this site, and many wished they would reconsider and ignore the assholes that frequent here.  I possible could ignore the assholes like UglyDog and Abhay, but I can not ignore the sheep that are so gullible they would take the side of an admitted criminal and liar, so I am going to try never to post here again.  I have decided that ya'll have chosen your internet friend and let you have him.  Some just deserve what they get.  Some have stated to not feed the trolls but as soon as a troll asks a question about can anybody beat a certain football team, they get fed.  No one goes on threads like that and states "this is a site anout the GSD, take this stuff elsewhere", but if I post about the Presidential campaign or about an obvious liar and dog fighter, then that is the kind of response I usually get.

How shallow and sad.  What is most important here.  Belittling a dog fighter or discussing the right person to lead our country, or talking about some guys wearing the same laundry, running around, tackling each other and celebrating by dancing if they make a simple tackle or score a touchdown now and then.

I am going to mail a copy of my CD to two persons on this site, and even though neither one is a rap fan, I hope that they critique my performances here and settle that little dispute.  If they say that I sound young and black, then I will be happy.  That is what I was striving for.  As I have stated before, I am going forward with that endeavor in the area of Christian rap.  If you think that is strange for a 54 year old guy, then what do you think about an athiest going in that direction?

Goodbye, good luck and my apologies to all offended by my above post.  I was trying to make a point, that probably did not work so well.

click.

LMH, When I say I feed a dog immediately after their workout, I am speaking of a PWO shake or drink. Fast absorption via digestion, is of paramount importance at this stage.  Eating what most would call a feeding at this time would be a slower burning form of protein and would miss the mark completely. It is impossible to take advantage of the post workout window with a protein source that will take 2 hours to hit your dog's bloodstream.

If you check out many of the supplements offered like Vertex and it's competitors, you will see these products use the 30min window. The protein sources are predigested and the transport used is dextrose or maltodextrin.  Fructose should be avoided at this time as fructose replinishes liver glycogen. Dextrose and maltodextrin replenish muscle glycogen.

I posted this on another thread on the database.

The 30 minute Window of Opportunity was written for body builders, but All the Strength and Conditioning Coaches at the OTC for every sport teach and apply the 30 minute window. This works for canine athletes as well. If you exercise your dog, try the Post Workout Shake in this article and I guarantee you will see a dramatic improvement in both appearance and ability within 3 wks.

Post Workout the canine and human body is in a highly catabolic state. It will soak up anything you give it. Remember you only have 30 minutes Post Work Out to get the nutrients into your canine or yourself.  Dont forget you need the Dextrose or Maltodextrin or both as a transport. Only the dextrose-maltodextrin will replenish the valuable muscle glycogen. Fructose replenishes liver glycogen.

http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/magazine/windowofopportunity.htm

Recently the new supplement Vitargo has hit the market and is a Super Transport.

On training days you should feed one serving of Vitargo-CGL with 20 oz. of water immediately after your charge's workout. Muscular creatine uptake and insulin sensitivity are then at their highest and muscle energy needs to be restored as quickly as possible. Since Vitargo-CGL is so effective at delivering creatine to the muscles, and thanks to Vitargo it is also 70% faster in restoring muscle energy than dextrose and maltodextrin, Vitargo-CGL is the ideal creatine formula for post-workout consumption. Vitargo-CGL can be fed any time during the day as long as it is not consumed on a full stomach or in conjunction with a meal. This would delay the crucial passage of creatine, water and Vitargo from the stomach into the bloodstream.

For the ultimate PWO drink add some Vertex or which ever supp you prefer with the Vitargo, and feed immediately after your dog's workout. See if after 3 weeks you don't see a dramatic positive difference.

I have never had a problem with a dog regarding PWO feeding. I can tell you this. A dog cannot work properly in the sun and heat. A human can run a dog into the ground on a hot sunny day. If the day is cool, the same dog will run the same human into the ground. I'm not there but it almost sounds like the dog with the reaction you describe may have been somewhat overworked in the heat and may have been close to heat stroke. Of course I have no idea about the dog or what work he had performed, so I may be way off.

Do Right I retract my statement. I have no respect for you. As you obviously have no respect for woment. You know, like one of the things you hate about Abhay? What happened to being Underdog and standing up for truth justice and the American Way? Yeah, got it. And just for your information you arrogant little prick with an overcompensation complex. I have been married for 26 years. I am not ga ga over anyone's muscles except my husband's which are considerable. You don't seem frustrated because the world if full of gullible sheep. You just seem frustrated. In every sense of the word.

Do you really see yourself as that much above the rest of the world that you are the only one who knows what's what? We obviously don't fall for anything. for example, no one believes your cock and bull fifty year old rapper routine. No one believes you were any good at being a public servant. Maybe because of the above mentioned arrogant little prick with an overcompensation complex?  No one believes your problem is really with Abhay but with yourself self esteem and physical insufficiencies.

Frankly, I don't think this is a role reversal for you at all. Actually seems pretty much in character. Ooh, Dudley Do Right is on the case. With that one obsessive case of finding out the bad guy that gives some meaning to his post retirement life.

Guess what pee-wee? I'm not harmless either. Go ahead and roar old man. No one takes you any more seriously now than they ever did. If they ever did.

What an idiot.
