I certainly am stumped as to why you want to breed dogs with the disposition of wild dogs. This would be very close to those cocked guns you're used to. Seems to me the Sch clubs don't go out of their way to give public displays, unlike the cleaveland pd, demonstrations is because they aren't out to impress anyone or convert anyone. I think they just want to participate in a sport they love and don't need the approval of others.

I haven't met or experienced "real" dogs.  Man oh man, are you so wrong and grasping for straws.  I trained military dogs and personal protection dogs.  They bite for real.  Not biting a toy wrapped around your arm.  They bite the closest piece of meat, and they sometimes get killed.  I have had Great Danes and Cano-Presario's (which is like a 125 lb. Pit Bull)throwing me around.  Try those as a helper (agitator).  By the way, ya'll call them "helpers" because that is what they do.  Help your dog through the motions.  An agitator makes the dog mad and then has to deal with a dog that is pissed, not playing a tug game.  Your dogs might lose a tooth on a bad day.  Ha Ha.  You are one funny lady Dawg.

No dAWG :i DONT Judge all schutz by a few   that isnt what i said.....I said   to make a statement that schutzhund dogs can be around children and family with no worry is a false statement   I started in the Spring Valley Schutzhund club in 1990 early in those following years , then to Gulf Coast Schutzhund club.and on to Tyler and went to many trials and havae been around training for years with hundreds of these dogs in training with everythihg from B to Schx3, IPO, and police dogs I trained with Gal Co SHER AND hARRIS CO SHER.DEPT PCT 4, AND PROSECUTED THEIR DOG TRAINER...

You cannot count on your hands and mine and all my family, how  many of these dogs, and all these dogs are hard dogs  ,,,and Im not discussing the dogs there that never made the grade.a lot of ..these dogs were not very good to havae at any group of children or in a situation where you did not have adults on hand and these dogs were not to be touched or handled......warning to all around   please do not get close    she may or he may       go to their house    same warning    and these dogs showed manners and socialablity....but as in Pirol v Enclavehof , the day I bought a male pup. from his place ,,,on a table he sat and I ask could I pet him     welll, may be not ,,youhave to watch him      any wrong move,and he may get you  .......ok   what was the wrong move.....he was in the midst of 8 pups and he didnt like them all over him   he got up and moved and he never attacked them  ,,he just didnt want them there.......was that the wrong move....i looked at  GH and I said   ok    and I let him come over to me   he smelled of me  and i just talked to him and never even tried to rub him under his chim or even attempt to make a move........with his power he could have made mince meat out of me...he did look at me funny when I started playing with the pups.,,,he watch me with an attitude that was uncertain......He stayed out the whole time and didnt perceive to make a move or hurt,,, me    but how did I know what the wrong move ways suppose to be.....he demoed him and wow a powerhouse and the whole mountains rang out behind us when he hit the sleeve.....

I watched a Schutz 3 dog take the shoulder off the decoy in Ben Wheeler , Texas at a seminar  14 years ago  , and that trainer is right here in east texas...the dog was famous for what he did and the handler let the leash go unannounced and the decoy was a good one....that same dog was a terror around a crowd....

I visited Hundsport and watch and had Zu there to breed to Vedor and training sessions with many a titled dog...told   stay away from this one   stay away from that one.......Not counting many more I cant fill the page with......IN the schutz magazine when the dog on the podium turned and snapped at the other winner ,,,,he was  punnished,,,,,the whole world has eyes of that....it happens very often...I traveled with many a group to a lot ot trials and have visited with many trainers and breeders and can relay many stories,,,no need to ......just because these dogs did that behaviour , doesnt mean all schutzhund dogs do that......no not for sure.....I was addressing  ,,,you cannot make that statement .......wrong info .....would hate ot have someone believe that any schutzhuind 3 , IPO or any germans shepherd may be ok to approach or leave in the room with children.......and all of you on this site , may have Schutzhund 3 IPO trained top germans that    CAN be trusted,,,,,probably so,,,,,my female that was in Schutzhund   was one of those....but her daughters and sons  were not......they were when they were under two,,,but after training.....they had a
