I knew a child once that loved to be spanked.  He wasn't kinky or anything like you would think of someone like that.  He just wanted some attention.  ANY attention.  Because he didn't get any good attention, he knew an easy way to get SOME, was to "act up".  He turned out alright later in life, but was a handful to his parents for most of his young life.  He just wanted attention and even being punished was SOMETHING.

There, do you feel better now?  Glad to have helped.  But you could have got some attention by just joining in a conversation and contributing something worthwhile, instead of just asking questions geared towards creating a heated discussion, or making snide remarks to put people down, and thnking that they aren't smart enough to read between the lines and actually see that you were making fun of, or insulting their intelligence.

Oh, just so you know.  My remark about not remembering my marriage vows for a couple of hours once in awhile, was tongue in cheek, just in case my wife reads this crap, and I wanted to make her smile.  I have been with her since 1962 and "never wanted nothing more", as the song says.

Additionally, to insinuate that I and Yellow Rose might want to get together or whatever you were insinuating, was very unlady like. Do like I do when you want to make a joke.  Be self defecating (I believe that is the correct word), not nasty towards others.  I have never met Yellow Rose, but do like her.  She has a temper but she has class.  Some have beauty but no class.  I would take the later over the former anyday.

I believe the name "Alsatian" was originally used to replace "German Shepherd Dog" here in the US during or just after WWII when it was considered in bad taste for anything to be German in origin.

LMFAO Do Right you just described yourself and that diatribe of posts long enough to be a book about wolfdogs! They usually ended "but I'm not saying it's the right thing to do". Who the hell spends that much time researching something they don't believe in?

My opinion was no one was picking on you or calling any names. Yes VKF did say your name so we knew they were answering you, that's about it. I didn't see any inside digs twords you. They said you don't have the "experience" which you have already addmiitted to and is know as fact. You in turn got super "Butthurt" for a lack of a better term, at any poster not agreeing with your thoughts. There is never much agreement on this board. Everyone has their own personal opinions. I agree with some more than others but even those close to me verge at some point or another.

Oh one more  thing I can promisse you, I am not thinking of you at moments when I am not reading one of your posts. If I happen to be responding to the same post, that is all it is. I have never searched you out as Brittney and Funk man so often do with eachother. I'm not even going to get worked up like some over the wolf stuff because the SV will never let it happen. Some small pockets of people do it but is wont affect the breed it affect the individual animals that have no place in wild or captive lands. I feel sorry for the poor animals as the majority are nervous and never comfortable in their own skin.

People are acting like the GSD is on the endangered species list.     UMMMM   IT's NOT !! 

YES  !  YES !  YES !!      It has problems,   but they are fixable ,  beieve it or not.!!     It it doesn't mean we need to incorporate

another breed.     I mean come on REALLY NOW !    Why do you think?   or Where do you think ?   That Red pigment came from in the Show lines.    Well,   it is because somewhere in History they  " ADDED NEW BLOOD "   Maybe they told people and recorded it.   Or maybe they swept it under the rug.    SO REALLY !!  if People could see that Crossing a top noch Working Black and Red show  line  for all of the POSITIVE  traits to a Top  noch  working line of What ever color  for all of the POSITIVE traits.     And this is for all the other lines of GSD's also.  

GOOD DOGS WILL BE BEING BRED !! 

Also,     There are good dogs in this country,  that came from the Old  Stock back in Rinty's time.    But ,  being that there weren't the established training , and breed survey systems here.    These Old lines don't  have current titles.     And through the Years there has been fresh German blood put in.    And some of the  original  breeders in this country did there own form of line breeding and crossing back and forth to German and or American lines.  Because like we all know back in the 60's and 70's  there were some outstanding dogs being bred both here and Germany.     Now , just because these dogs didn't have titles , didn't mean that they didn't work,  

In Fact,   if you go to Research back on WAR Dogs,     and the thousands that got killed after the war.    

WHERE IN THE WORLD DO YOU THINK ALL OF THOSE   " AMERICAN WAR DOGS "   CAME FROM?   

 we didn't ship them all directly from Germany , just to send them to OUR WAR.  

Those dogs were bred here and trained here in America !!   And actually in the first war,  alot of dogs went back to the origial owners.  (  TALK ABOUT OUTSTANDING DOGS!)  the second war was a sin , how they killed them or gave them to  the enemy(at the time)  .     This Country lost Soooo Many valuable assests to the GSD as far as being able to  keep the standard strong.   If I am correct I think it was something like 4,000 dogs didn't get to come home. 

My point is that so many are forgetting that there are still  tons of German shepherds here that do not have titles or surveys.   But these  dogs have a "HELL OF A LOT MORE TO OFFER",    than out crossing to another breed. 

And if you REALLY  want to take a "HUGE OPEN MINDED "   look at the situation.   These GERMAN Line American bred dogs  are  exactly  what needs to be infused back in.    TITLES OR NOT!   Then once you get the offspring start doing titles again.   

This is my belief that ,   there are good dogs here that do not have titles in several generations but still posses the abiltiy to not only do sport or the one time breed survey, but also have the ability to produce Quality GSD's  .

Excellent post 4Pack.  This is exactly why I no longer read or respond to his posts.  I think it's a little sad that someone argues just to argue, tiring and boring too.  In fact I was enjoying reading this little mental excercize put forth by Yvette until it went south. 

Oh, geeze, Walter. Lighten up. It was all in good fun. And Yellow has a good sense of humor and I'm sure understands that. Gawd! Loosen up. No one really thinks you have a pea pod and no one really thinks Yellow would cozy up to you in it. I don't get why you have to be so uptight about everything. Come on.
