Older Dogs Twice a day

They never get loaded up, so they digest the food better, If you only eat the amount of food you normally would have during the day and evening in one go you too would be full up

JUst measure out the amount you normally feed and cut it into two feeds and thats it,

If the dog leaves any food any time cut that amount out of its daily ration and a little more, it does not need it then or any other time

all dogs like us should be able to eat a little more, but not get it

I replied to a post of Liberlandy, I do say that i never noticed the date was over a year old, but it was Liberlandy i replied to dispite your rambling on, it was not your original post i have never seen it

Now Son, you may be half my age, But that means nothing to me, i challenged you to come over here, and if you are so confident you can beat the S--- out of me then get over,

It doesn't change the fact you insulted me several times. Now, I don't discount your age, but if a young man can't whip an elderly one, there's something wrong with the young man. I went over to England for a pigeon show and i walking from the hotel to the venue minding my own business when i was hit from behind

As instinct i half went down but stayed together to turn in the same instance, one who was in his 20's  finished up in a pool of his own blood with a broken nose and fractured cheek bone and that did not last anymore than possibly ten seconds

And for sake of argument as you say, It was an old thread, I was posting i thought to Liberlandy, I did not see right or wrong that the thread was over a year old,  my mistake and if i was posting to you i would say so but Liberlandy was on the top and i thought that was the person i was posting too, and i told you that from the beginning but your reply to me was not right i thought why is he or she replying to me i was not refering to that person meaning yourself

Finally some one on this forum mentioned about posting old threads and it gets confusing, more so if we know nothing about it or do not notice the date

I for one do not always check the date it is posted as in this case, Plus i knew nothing about the original thread

From now on i will take note of the posting date and then i will quetion the one on top and ask why it should be opened again after a lengh of time has passed, because it makes no sense to do so when a new one can be started

Well before you ask a question that's been answered a million times, you look it up. You know, search it.

When you read through those comments and you have more questions, you add to that thread. If you start a new thread, folks will tell you to go and search the topic and provide links to old threads, like this one.

your 1st post-- let's just skip that one because you say that wasn't to me. Fine. I responded to you with a "Thanks Steve!.....blah blah..  No sarcasm. Perhaps you thought I ws being a smart ass by responding to you and not Liberalandy.

But then you responded in your 2nd post with the "You ask a question then tell us the answers, not really much point"  Well that burned me up. Then your subsequent insults made it worse, and mine followed. Perhaps you and I both should be little less sensitive to the tone of comments.  You got confused with the date and thought I was being sarcastic. I felt like you were needlessly being snarky trying to stir something up. I understand how you took it, and I didn't mean it that way.

I'm not here to fight, but Idon't run from confrontation either. I'm just here to share ideas. You know why you see 1000 views on a thread and 20 responses? Because 980 people would rather read and hope they get what they need,  than risk asking a question and getting their heads bitten off or be treated rudely.

I'll chalk this up as a misunderstanding. I don't know your address and I'm not interested in knowing. I would never spend my money to fly somewhere to fight someone that challenged me. Why are these old threads bought up at all, when a new one can be started, that makes no sense

I am not good with computers and if you live in the USA you Guys seem to know each other, we over in Europe do not always know what is going on a lot of you know each other not by pen names but first real names i for one am at a disadvatage, and no one ever puts who they are posting too, and i am getting to be the same way and it is not good pratice

Another lesson! Look at the bottom or top of your page. Do you see the icons that say "search messageboard" with the little binocular? If you click on that and type in search terms e.g. food, schutzhund, police, housebreaking, show results, bite work, etc... All previous threads will be listed that include the search terms you listed.

This allows you to reasearch (which requires reading) a topic before you ask a question that has been asked and answered a million times. If you want to expand with more questions you can do that. You do have to pay attention to what's going on though. I certainly don't discourage new topics, but if  you, for exapmle, want to search: " Best DDR Breeders in the U.S.," and two weeks ago, someone else asked "Favorite DDR Breeders in U.S.??????" and had 100 responses........well you just reworded the same question and have all new responders wasting their time on repeat because you were too lazy to "Search the Messageboard" to determine if it has been discussed. Two identical sets of responses to the same question. That's a waste. You're not sharing ideas, you're getting someone to do your homework for you. If the answers are all outdated, well that's something else entirely.

You ask how you can go through hundreds of threads. Easy- Don't make so damn many of the them saying the same damn thing. Before I asked my questions I actually searched the topic, found this thread (and others), and took the time to read all the responses in the thread, old ones included. There is very good information in what has already been stated. Instead of jumping around posting comments all over the place, you should take more time to understand what's going on i.e. dates, old questions, newer questions, etc. on the threads that you are posting.
