Steve, He is beautiful. "Patterned sable"? I don't know if it has the same name for the coloring in Europe. How would you describe it?

Yes, you did not deserve that remark sorry, You feed the same as i do and i have never had a problem with any Dog the half fed food for the day can digest in its own time without problems and most important the dog looks for the other half

The Temp over here in Limburg has been low minus 20 degrees centigrade, The Dogs are sticking it well  outside.

Pup Hiedi is outside on the bedding she has taken from her box and is laying on it with a marrowbone i have recently given to her and is quite happy

One thing i have done with this cold temps as the water is frozen within 30 minutes of changing both the pigeons 8 drinkers and the Dogs drinkers needs to be changed about 8 times a day,

So for the dogs i am soaking there kibble in warm water and leaving it for 30 minutes before i feed it to them

This way i hope it will help them during this  cold spell

Yes, i could have some Scots blood in me, probably Irish as well,

According to going way back in the family tree i have the Viking blood in me as well, and i have always been a warring devil, according to many friends i left back in England,

that is why i say i get on better with dogs and other  wild creatures more than the human specie, i have an affinity with them but it seems not with my own kind someimes

Hello Steve, I sent you a PM.  -30 is too cold.  We've had the coldest winter too, we're pretty spoiled here usually and I'm bleedin' angry because I've lost some plants that I've had for a couple of winters LOL

Yes. The Pups do not answer back, and if anyone has any problems, then get and play and work with the dogs, it all goes away, they are the best way to relax, and they make you laugh, not many humans can make me do that

In reference to:

"To the other Guys

If this falling out is what can happen on a forum to posters about a subject we all love German Shepherd dogs and i do love dogs, and i love training them on, it gives me a big lift to see a pup do well and teach me things, then i am ashamed to be one of them, again to all on here i am very sorry for my actions and words but i feel strongly in what i have said , right or wrong that is me,

I Ihope you all enjoy your dogs and i hope you all reach the goals to want to with them, i will miss the Guys like Bob, missbeeb, Liz, Moons, Larrydee, 4 pack and many more, I  cannot think of your names but many more Guys on here  but i think it best i do not stay on here

Steve"

Steve,

You may find this hard to believe, but I'm glad you didn't leave the forum. A mutual friend has convinced me that our tiff was started as a result of a miscommunication and misunderstanding.  You made a rude remark and I responded in kind. I stand by that. What happened after is why I am writing. I didn't fight alone, but I need to own my part in this. I apologized to the board, as you did, but after cooling down, I know I OWE YOU AN APOLOGY.

The fight lasted way to long, and Ididn't intend for you to take it so seriously. I certainly didn't mean to hurt your feelings, if I did, or cause you to consider leaving the board. I took the fued seriously only in part, and the rest was funny to me. I even found some of your insults to me funny. That said, what I said to you was not meant to hurt your feelings or cause you any pain. Again, I sincerely apologize for that.

Now, you and I may never be friends, but that's not the purpose of my message to you. I hope you will continue to enjoy this forum and allow your friends the opportunity to chat with you here. I harbor no ill will towards you and I hope the chapter/ thread of this fued can be put to rest.

I'm not looking for a response from you, I just wanted to apologize to you. Truce, and no hard feelings.

Son, GRSD, gsd, or whatever you want to call me.....

ps I not here to fight. I just want to talk dogs.
