He really IS a prick in the kennel. Poor Molly. At least he's up against the best. Nerves of steel, she'll have him straightened out in no time. SS

Thanks for the confidence. This dog is extremely aggressive in the crate/kennel. But I'm in no hurry, he will figure out I'm his friend and when he does, we'll start working together to get him into a permanent situation that is appropriate for his temperament. He seems to be a very good dog - serious for sure, but not crazy and very clear. Apparently he was a guard dog for a drug dealer in Allentown. "Blackie" is his real name. There is a small chance he may be a Police K9 missing since March from a NJ department - will find out for sure if that is indeed where he came from before placing him elsewhere. Right now it's just "settle in time" for Blackie/Maximus. He's doing fine. molly
