Ulli

I never worry about being bullied i am more than capable of looking after myself, but no appoligy is needed,

I too have my troubles When i moved here i ws a little trusting and i got caught buying a Car, Took it to court and got my Money

Second Time had  a new roof put on the Garage , He came back nine times to repair leaks. then when he refused to come back to fix it i took him to court, that was three and a half years ago, its still on going, i want the money i paid the court and experts to prove it was his bad work with interest, and i did tell him i will go as far and as long as it takes to get it

He now knows what it is like to have hassle, but what ever happens or however long it takes he will pay

If color is so unimportant, why are the dogs advertised with "rich pigment, Black and Tan, Sable, Black and Red, all black, whites are not breed worthy  Judges opinions> can be used to improve color",  I understand the concept of a perfect fit in temperment, construction of the dog. But lets be honest here, we all have personal tastes. i would love to see a breeder who purchases a pup, showline, proper temperment, built and can work like a dream, sent an all black one and watch the fur fly.

Hey Blitzen,

there is a good chance that we can meet at Molly's, hopefully it will work out. Should be fun.

I have no problem with breeders who's deposit is non-refundable, I understand why and I think it's fair.  I do think a breeder who states they refund deposits actually should refund deposits.  There's no gray area here.

Ulli, if that works for you and Molly, it'll work for me.

Lesson #1 buyers don't pay a deposit on something that doesn't exist yet. If you want black/red wait until the litter is born and give a deposit when their is a black/red pup of the right sex.

Lesson #2 sellers don't take deposits until pups are on  the ground. If you do, don't cash and spend it before you have pups on the ground, just incase you do need to send it back, you can quickly.

Lesson #3 live by your contracts. Right them correctly or suffer the consequences, should you change your mind mid transaction.

Lesson #4 People in general, quite being dumb as a rock. Think about what you are doing before you do it. If you don't feel comfortable sending money don't. Why would you pay for something nature has control over? If you wanna take your chances, take your chances but don't cry about it when it doesn't work out in your favore.

An excellent post by 4Pack. I never take a deposit on a dog until the pups are on the ground. A breeder does not

know how many pups he will have, doesn't know the gender or color. My contract is posted on my website

www.hudsonhaus.com. I will take a pick of the litter deposit but not a number 2,3,4,or 5. You never know

the gender or color before the pups are on the ground. After the pups are on the ground, I will take deposits

and if by some reason I can not give the breeder the dog I had taken the deposit on, his deposit will be

refunded. I will take deposits on the rest of the litter but if one should happen to die, the deposit will be refunded.

I can give letters of references but this is a waste of time. Would a breeder give the name of an unsatisfied

customer?? I don't think so. I have a list of people who have bought pups that a fault was found after the sale

and I gave a refund or another pup. In some cases the buyers kept the dog with the fault.

I wasn't going to state names but the second breeder I mentioned above was Hudsonhaus. Since he stated here that he doesn't take deposit except for the first pick I'm not telling tales out of school. I understand why he feels this way and find no fault in the logic. I just would have liked to have had a deposit on pick male. I guess it would have just made me feel better. Just a personal thing. By the way I wish him luck with his breeding with Ria. She's bred very well and I have heard that she is very good in the work and highly thought of even prior to coming to the states. Bred to Zidane, looks very nice.

Thanks RAMGSD, I kinda thought that might have been you that made the earlier post. If you have never been

a breeder you can't imagine the problems you run into when you start giving picks 2,3,4,5. Aftert the first

pick it is first come first served. A number 2 pick may be 10 weeks old before he can come pick up the

pup and you have all of the other pups just sitting there and the people who have put down a deposit

waiting for me to tell them that they can now pick up their pup since the #2 pup has not picked up. Glad

you understand.

" thecouch".....this is a pic of one of my sable males I sold years ago, obviously long coat. Not bad looking, maybe you should consider the sable instead of losing your money. However, don't compromise if you will still feel like you got ripped off.  I'd be interested in seeing the " It stats on her website that if she can't supply you with the coat/colouring of a puppy from the litter you put money down for she will give you back your money...though if she can supply you with a pup and say the timing doesn't work for you then she will keep the money as a deposit for another litter.

Can you copy and paste without naming any names???
