Am wondering if there is a completely secure way to send and recieve money for the sale of dogs that have to be shipped internationally. Thanks for your help

Each time I complete a transaction I have my bank wire the money to the persons' bank account who is selling me the dog, or vice versa. Depending on what nation you are dealing with, it can take from 3-7 days generally, but, in some cases, could take longer. Wires cost money, at my bank about $45 in addition to what I send. Works just fine but you have to make sure you ask your bank representatives who do this EXACTLY what information they need for the other account.....usually address, name, phone of receiver and bank, and the account number, routing number etc. There are some important numbers that must be had to make sure the money does not end up hanging in limbo for longer than necessary. So make sure to get all this taken care of BEFORE trying this.

The other thing to remember; there will be a change fee if you send $$ and it is converted over. Some banks might also charge an incomming wire fee as well.

GSDDebbie: if this is related to your Thailand inquiry. . . Wire transfers will not be a problem as you will be the recipient of the funds. Thailand is just as sophisticated as India providing you give all the required infomation for the transfer of funds. Interesting that you are now dealing with another country that you have no knowledge of and are pepared to send your offspring to.

The only other thing is make sure the MONEY HAS cleared and can not be cancelled, this happen more with bank checks but you never know.I'm not normaly a nervous type person but I really do not like the sounds of this for some reason........Maybe send 1 dog at a time? better to get beat up on one dog then 4.........Be careful

Yes, Charlie I too am suspicious of this person. Hence the post. I am working on finding as much information as I can. I certainly will not send ANYthing over there with out me being satisfied with all the conditions involved AND have funds completly secured before hand. Thanks again for your kind help ALL !
