I'm staying out of this pro/anti muslim discussion, as all I really "know" is what I see on the news and read in the papers.  Anyone can believe whatever they so choose.  Thats your right, and frankly, I don't give a damn!  As an American, I see my rights diminishing each day.  America needs to take care of it's own.  For example, the Gulf War. We sent our troops into Kuwait to save them from the Iraqi government...and we did with much sacrifice and spilled blood. What the hell did Kuwait do for us??  Gee.. how about some free gas???

Now, I am in no way defending terrorist acts but have you ever sat back and wondered why so many people hate the USA??  Although our acts towards others contries have been more civil, the United States is no more innocent than any other country when it comes to war which stems from power, land, money and "my guns are bigger than yours" BS.  And we are not immune to the problems this world faces.  Terrorist activity happens ALL over the world, and unlike many people want to beleive we are jsut as susceptable to these acts as any other country.  I dont see anyone bitching about suicide bombers killing innocents men women and children, but because it happened to the U.S its so much more wrong??  A human like is a human life, U.S or not.

My stance on muslim's is the same as my stance on any religion.

Belief anything you like, prey to which ever God you choose.   Just don't expect other's to be just like you.  They aren't.

Don't make me change my life because of your belief's.   I have my own, and they do not concern you and will not cause any change's in your life.    Extreme is extreme in any language, in any culture.  We have our's as do they.

We all breathe the same air, we all love our children and want a better future, and we're all mortal.   It's a no brainer how much alike we all really are, we just take different road's to get there.

Never take any of it too seriously .

Another thing Sue accussed me of was that I was in favor of killing the Iraq womwn and children during the war. She is totally wrong and lying and being misleading.

My position was and still is:  At the time during the war the terrorists were living among the civilin Muslims who were protecting them, the terrorists hide in homes, by hospitals and schools. They would attack and shoot at our troops from the homes and then the media would help them spread by showing the results of us firing back. IMO CNN was actually playing a supportive role and we all knew they held back evidence of terrible torture and killings so Saddam would allow them to stay in Iraq before the ware started.  So my position is that if the enemy hides and fights among their women and children the yes they can and likely will be killed once the battle begins. Sad but reality.

And two moons you statement sounds good but plenty of wackos do terrible things in the name of religion..

Bottom line is SUe is not smart enough to make a good argument so she has to fall back on calling people racists.

If there is to be peace in the world,

There must be peace in the nation.

If there is to be peace in the nations,

There must be peace in the cities.

If there is to be peace in the cities,

There must be peace between neighbors.

If there is to be peace between neighbors,

There must be peace in the home.

If there is to be peace in the home,

There must be peace in the heart.

    Yes Ranger,

Many horrible thing's have been done in the name of religion.

Man has alway's know the power and has alway's used it.

A smart man once said he did not believe, but he worshiped anyway, when asked why he replied, incase I'm wrong.

Do you know who said this?

It's always had this power over man.  Man need's comfort from his fear's.  Answer's to impossible question's.

We all will agree that too much (extreme) is dangerous.

    Brent.
